Sundance Deli, Pleasantville NY

Area favorite deli. The staff are very nice and they have a big variety of food to offer from their menu. Some of the hot food items are better than others. Get whatever looks appetizing.

I ordered 4 wedges and a bag of chips, came out to be $71. I opened the bag and came home to find I only received 2 wedge sandwiches and a ROLL rather than a wedge. When I placed my order, I could hear how busy it was and asked the lady to repeat the order back to me to make sure it was correct. The first time she said, the order was incorrect and I had to repeat myself to correct the order (which was totally fine). But the fact that you got the order correctly after reading it back to me the second time, and still messed up the order? That's insane. They purposely messed up my order and refused to admit it and justified it with unreasonable excuses. I also asked for a receipt when I paid for my food in-person, but the lady couldn't print it for me because they probably didn't want to expose themselves for scamming me. When I called and inquired about the order, they said that the order was right. I reviewed how much each sandwich was and when I calculated everything, the tax would be $10 but when I asked the lady how much tax would be, she said it was $6. So where does the $4 come from? Sundance Deli definitely overcharges their food so don't bother looking at the menu prices. Order whatever you want, and expect it to be $20-$30. Place might as well be called Scamdance Deli

Sandwiches are good but prices are getting out of control. 15 dollars for a chicken cutlet on a roll is insane.

Food is pretty good and the service is great. The place is a bit overpriced, though in comparison to other restaurants in delis in the area.

Rice & beans and crispy chicken with a side of plantains are tasty and the sandwiches are huge. Everything tastes fresh and homemade!

They catered a party for my office- the food was excellent- delivered on time with a smile. We could not have been more pleased!

Eating at Sundance is an experience not a meal. Easily THE BEST food I've ever had. The ambience of the store mixed with the friendliness of the employees makes for a fantastic experience all around. There is variety in every option on the menu and more importantly it all taste DELICIOUS! I've referred many people to come eat here and everyone leave happy, I'm certain you will too!

Great sandwiches on a fantastic bread. Service is great love this place always a great meal with plenty of options. Be sure to check out the daily specials as they are always made fresh and are delicious

What should we order for 6 hungry men for a dinner gathering, who had the appetites that could clear a buffet table? Diego, Moses and the team from Sundance Deli, 37 Wheeler Ave, Pleasantville, NY gave us great advice.
Sundance prepared a first-rate homemade and generously portioned meal which consisted of moist white meat grilled chicken strips over perfect yellow rice and a side of black beans. Coleslaw, hand-held empanadas (including vegetarian) and a fresh fruit bowl completed the order. Cooked food arrived hot, prepared in an appealing, attractive way and was a huge hit.
We had an excellent experience at Sundance Deli, who accommodated us with an exceptional made-to-order meal. We will eagerly return.

Food is always on point! Small space so it can get crowded. No dine in only standing room. Food and drinks are pricey

Absolutely cherish this spot. They have delicious food and they are organized and on point. They never mess up on custom orders. Portions are big, quality is excellent, variety is great. I don't live in the area anymore and I definitely miss this spot. You cannot beat a chicken cutlet sandwich.

Best deli in the area but they just need to wake up. They can't seem to remember to thats my sandwich even after telling them multiple times.

Very nice staff. My daughter went in to buy a soda & checkout person offered to open bottle (doesn't open by hand). By the line I frequently see here food must be great; I must try it soon!

I cannot speak for the other food here but I got a taquito just now and was incredibly disappointed. The taquito was homemade but very poor tasting, too crunchy and overall poor.
