The service and staff was friendly but the food was not good at all.
A little piece of chicken with a soft bun and a bit of dressing. While some might call this amazing food, we simply got disappointed from the taste, the portion and the price we paid. You can do much better in New York other places. We trusted reviews to the fullest but we will be more careful in the future because we do not understand the hype at all.

Seriously the absolute worst place I've ever been to. The viral pancake isn't even a pancake, it's got the consistency of cornbread and it tasted horrible. The people I went with also agreed that their food was disgusting. The waiter there was pissed that we didn't tip him more than 15% and didn't even say thank you. I don't understand the hype, we paid a ton for disgusting, cheap quality food, bad service, and crowded/disrespectful atmosphere. The people who seated us were also very rude. Avoid at all costs.

Surprisingly big place on the inside with quite a large seating capacity but still quite full with people waiting outside. We booked more than a week in advance but still couldn't get reservations for Sunday brunch and had to settle for Saturday. Although I might add that one of the reasons was that we were 5. It is easier for only 4. Food was good. Pancakes with chocolate and hazelnut sauce which is their signature dish was fabulous and more like dessert than a main course and that is how we had it. Chicken sandwiches, shakshuka, and briskets with gravy and were all quite good and different.

Great place for breakfast/brunch, the pancake is a must, one will be more than enough for two people.
Service was very good, we will be back!

Amazing brunch in Williamsburg. The pancakes are exaggerate, do not overestimate your appetite or your capacity!

Christina A was our server and treated us like family! She is bright and so accommodating and sweet. The food was excellent, and we are definitely coming back.

I went in for a quick drink and snack. Sat at the bar. There were three people at the bar. I asked the male bartender if he could tell me what was in a drink he was making for another guest he couldn't explain it. I waited 12 minutes for a menu. The male bartender set up four seatings before he even offering me a sip of water. Then the female bartender finally gave me the menu. Neither took a drink order for another six minutes. The male bartender finally asked what I wanted to drink walked away quickly and so I sat there waiting more. Finally ordered a side salad when he came back with my drink. Waited another ten minutes for a salad that was so sloppily made with so much dressing that I couldn't cut the gigantic lettuce leaves. So I left because I was late to meet my friends. Awful experience. Waste of $40 for nothing. First time there won't be back.

It's either they forgot my eggs or the delivery guy ate it. They don't apologize.

So I went to Sunday in brooklyn for the first time at around 130 ish on 9/11/2023.myself and my husband were seated about 15 minutes after my scheduled time. Which was no big deal i am used to waiting in nyc. Christina was our waitress and a great one! She took me and my husband's orders right away. Food came was great! After my husband paid with the bill of 137. And left a tip totally 150 in full payment. He went to the restroom first, and I had to go shortly after him and as soon as I came out I was targeted by a blonde tall male waiter (didnt get his name but he didnt wait our table) who said they didn't pay! To my surprise I was shocked at his reply!
He stated they left nothing on the table as soon as I heard this I was like wait I know my husband paid already (I'm thinking this in my head) He said there's nothing there so for me I wanted to just pay and eliminate the feeling of humiliation (as per the known fact that I was one of the very few black folk here) So I paid! But was still waiting for my husband to finally answer his phone so that we could clairfy this embarrasing situation! So he finally realizes I'm taking too long to come out and he comes back telling to let the waitress know that he left the cash/money and tip and had already paid! We asked to speak with the manager immediately to rectify this situation and was appointed to Ms. Marcella Smith we told her what happened and she said she wouldn't be able to give my husband his cash back but however she offered to refund my card we said no we wanted all of our money we paid twice and threatened to call the police and asked if she could run the cameras back to see who stole the cash left on the table. Ms. Marcella whole energy shifted and she then said she would check the cameras if we were willing to wait 30 minutes we replied yes we will wait. About 20 min later she came back with our cash after about 25 minutes of everyone spectating the two of us on my birthday. I will never go back here again for this reason I should have never had to feel this way about this situation especially knowing that there was absolutely Noone sitting around me and and my husband at the time we paid it was only the waiters and workers and the (receipt was left behind with no money). Thanks but no thanks. Food was definitely great to me but how I was blatantly humiliated on my birthday is one reason I know I will never come back. I also know that Marcella knew one of the workers there stole that money which is the only reason why I received my money back.

Great brunch! The food here is great and the outdoor seating area is so cute. Don’t forget to share a pancake.

The tables are positioned very awkwardly and waiter had to ask the person sitting to literally stand up for him to pass through to get to our table. My guest and I had to fight to position our legs to be able to sit. Biscuits and gravy seemed very different than before, with hot sauce very dominant and somehow just not very good. Pancakes were good as usual - which makes it a 3 from a 2 star, underwhelming experience

Good food in a cozy (a bit too cozy) space. The coffee was smooth and delicious. The eggs were okay, the sausage a bit dry, and there were way too many potatoes. The best part was the one slice of toast. I would have traded ¾ of the potatoes for another slice of toast.

If you opt to get the pancakes, please note that they are bigger than your head. The waiter should have warned us.

First time trying this popular Williamsburg brunch spot. Lucked out and got seated at the bar which worked out perfect as the service was 5 star and relatively quick.

Food was decent and all the rave about the pancake was disappointing. It tastes more like a mound of Pound cake with syrup so don’t believe all the hype. It was good … but nothing to wait in line 44 minutes for, which is the average wait time. Oh and the true NY experience with elbow to elbow seating for the true NY experience

Lots of other great eateries on every corner so explore your options Harambe!

Sunday Pancakes were unreal! So fluffy and just the right amount of sweet, I’m definitely going to visit again. The fried chicken sandwich was also delicious, crunchy and spicy with a juicy chicken. I almost didn’t visit because there’s a lot of hype around this place and usually I’m disappointed but Sunday in Brooklyn truly lived up to their reputation.
