Sunrise Medical Laboratories reviews
16Very professional, quick and friendly. Arrived on a Saturday around 9: 30. They had a system in place for checking in then waiting in your car. We were in and done in 30 min even with the wait. No issues with blood draw, they were very gentle with my son and other children that were there.
My first experience using this lab on January 13,2021 was a very positive one. The process was very organized and went smoothly, and the staff was very professional and personable. I received my results the next day. I would definitely recommend their services!
Very courteous staff. My NP sent my prescription to another Lab but the nurse promptly called her office and another prescription was sent.
I been told that the results will be ready in 2 days and now is 5 days and I didn’t get the result yet
No stars. I am very angry. The woman who did the blood test on my son, is very very rude and dared to hit him on the child's hand, it is possible that she does such an outrage.she is an aciatica woman.
I needed to have blood work done, and stopped into Sunrise Medical Laboratories this morning. I was very impressed by the courtesy and professionalism of the two health care workers who were on staff. They were accommodating and helpful. The blood work I needed was taken care of efficiently and painlessly. I highly recommend Sunrise Medical Laboratories in Garden City, NY.
Clean straight forward place for blood work. My doc had me go to sunrise. I have never heard of. I checked online and found the garden City location open early Saturday morning and had a parking lot.it's off the Meadowbrook parkway on Stewart Ave. I went at 8am on Saturday. I had a little difficulty finding suite 1A. It's at the end of the building. I went in, signed in, sat down, they asked me for licence and insurance card which they made copy. 5 mins later I went in office and got blood taken. It was standard procedure. Staff was solid.
No management. No responsibility, not enough experience. If that’s what you need it and a horrible day sunrise lab is what are you looking for.
The 1-800 sunrise lab is totally disconnected where is the local office. I called twice one 800-number they tell me yes and I drive all the way to the lab the Garden City local office, One guy in Garden city said he does not have that experience!? After he made several phone calls he say no.
When I call back one 800 sunrise lab. After several transfer. I figured out I need to speak with a manager. You know what? ! No one want to transfer me to the manager for WHOLE Morning!
Peter - after 2 time talk. I said I want to speak with a manager. Last call he said he can not find any manger. I said I will review and he said he will hang off. I said I will put that on. So he just put me on hold on.instead of hang off.
Can you imagine WHOLE morning no manager available for a phone call at a medical lab? Can you imagine If there is accident, a little scaring! No one want to take responsibility. Think about twice if you want to use that place.
One lady said she called and page the manger but no one respond her call. But the period is WHOLE morning! With her help the Garden City office closed at noon. I never be able to speak with any manager before the office closed.she all time want to represent manager say something.
If horrible, disappointing, frustration day is what you need -go to sunrise lab.
Look at the lab how many negative review there. They do not know what they are doing!
I was greeted by Venus and signed in. Roy drew my blood in a matter of minutes.both employees were extremely professional and pleasant on this very dreary and rainy Monday morning.
I felt very welcomed at Sunrise Labs in Garden City. I had the pleasure to meet the most pleasant, cheerful staff ever that it took me by surprise especially after reading all of these horrible reviews. I was blessed to have a Phlebotomist by the name of Venus draw my labs. She was so cheerful and encouraging that I had to write this review, She made me feel at ease as having your labs drawn makes you worry about your pending results, however, Venus helped me put the most important things into prospective just by her conversation alone. Stellar Customer Service at Sunrise Labs in Garden City
No stars. Just went here to drop off a urine sample for my young child. Hand written note on the door "out to lunch". I heard them right there and asked through door if I could just drop off the sample. They refused to open the door and said "we have a right to eat lunch". I'm standing there with piss in my hand unrefrigerated and three kids in the car and they couldn't open a door. This is what your dealing with there.
I don't what anyone is complaining about. Front desk person was was very friendly and efficient. Philbotamist (sp?) was friendly, pleasant, competent and didn't leave any bruise. In fact this is the first time is hundreds of blood tests that I was told "don't bend your elbow - it leaves a bruise. " I'm very happy with this location of sunrise Labs. And in and out in less than ten minutes.
This was a terrible lab. I came to get bloodwork done for my babies, a 1 yr old and 2 yr old. One of the phlembotomists stuck my 2 year old and was fiddling with the needle under his skin because he had "shy veins". I get it, I do, but, if you can't work with babies, this isn't the place to be. They also stuck a woman who was doing her glucose test 3x! When she stuck my son on the second arm, he was crying so hard he almost vomited. She had to take the needle out, no blood was goingnthrougj, but she said she JUST found the vein. I couldn't do it. We packed up and went home.
The ppl were nice, just not very experienced with "shy veins".
Very efficient. Even if they are understaffed, the nurses are pleasant and accommodating. My husband hates getting blood taken, and they are great at making it as pleasant an experience as possible.
I have been going to this Lab for about 6 years since i had a blood clot and was put on warfarin, i have to get my INR checked every few weeks, the people here are very friendly and professional the girl's at the desk are very caring and compassionate, i have never had a bad experience here EVER. Carol is THE BEST!:)
Only one person to check in clients and draw blood. She does not greet or instruct clients entering it was an unpleasant experience
