Sunrise Medical Laboratories reviews
10By far, the worst lab I have ever been to. It’s terrible that when your doctor is based out of HMG, this is the lab you have to go to. The staff is incredibly rude, will cough and sneeze with no mask on, just all around horrible. Avoid at all cost.
Love the ease and speed of getting in and out quickly with no appointments necessary.
Reiko (skilled phlebotomist) listened to me, and was able to draw blood on first attempt. Great experience this morning!
Thank you!
Didn’t even bother to ask me which arm I prefer so my dominant arm was used and the phlebotomist was rough.i now have massive bruising in the spot she drew my blood and it hurts. Don’t go here!
These lab sux. Had blood drawn and results never provided to my dr. Dr sent me back, had blood drawn again and 3 weeks later still no results. Can’t reach them by phone, can’t get answers from the dr’s office and I still have no idea what my blood work shows.
Have to go now for a 3rd time to have blood drawn, will use a different lab this time.
Even when I was there having blood drawn they staff were dismissive, kept me waiting in a procedure room for 20 minutes (I was the only Pt there at the time) while they goofed off among themselves.
Terrible lab, terrible business
If you can go anywhere else, do it. I waited 30 min until the woman at the desk told me I was at the wrong lab. Then when I complained this giant of. Man screamed at me and wouldn’t give his name. I’ll be reporting him. Found out the same thing happened to the person before me.
When I arrived the staff was loud and joking around on their cell phones. You sign in and can see everyone's name on the board. The technician was rude, doesn't say hello and asks me which arm I want. I said which is better. No answer is what I got. Her name is Danisha. She refused to respond. I felt as if I was bothering her. No name tag on. I wish the corporate office would train the technicians about how to treat a patient.
The receptionist was so rude to one of the patients waiting and insulted his handwriting! What gives you the right to speak to someone so rudely! Maybe that's the only legible way they can write? I am sorry if you're tired or having a bad day, but seriously?
I'm sad to report I had a bad experience here. There were 2 people at the reception desk - one the receptionist who was very nice (2 stars for her and her alone), and the phlebotomist who was just hanging around. I was one of 2 people there and waited quite a while. My phlebotomist was just standing there the entire time, leaning on the counter, looking around. I didn't even know she was the phlebotomist until she came into the room to draw my blood. She was rude, and unpleasant and couldn't get the blood on the first poke. She wasn't young, so I'm assuming she was experienced. She approached me with 4 vials, and I joked, "wow, all that? " She replied, "don't talk to me, talk to your doctor. " Umm. OK. Then I was pumping my fist and she said, "don't do that, it doesn't do anything. " OK again. Then when I went to put my finger on the cotton ball while she got the medical wrap she said to me, "You see I have my finger there, don't you? " I give up. Rude, simply rude. Then she placed the medical wrap so tight, I couldn't wait to rip it off. She treated me as a total inconvenience. My mere existence ruined her day. Well, she ruined mine too - and the reputation of this establishment.
Everybody’s really nice. The phlebotomists are great & very well-trained. I like that you can just walk in w/no an appointment & I never have to wait too long. I have thin veins that “move” and this is one of the few places that they are very skilled and only stick me with a needle once and get it done! Today I saw a Belky and she was wonderful.
