So positive and helpful! Dr. Stephanie was able to fix multiple problems I had with my teeth in a quick and timely manner. Everyone in the office is extremely pleasant, attentive and truly want the best for their patients!

My husband and I been using Sunset Dental for years and we are very pleased with this office. Dr Oreste is very professional, knowledgeable, smart and caring. Vicky at the front desk is always very helpful, friendly and kind. I have never been a fan of the dentist but these 2 ladies make it a great and positive experience. I highly recommend Dr Oreste to my friends and family.

Long short, didn’t think I could go to my family dentist bc my insurance changed…. Went to Sunset and Dr Oreste bc they had great reviews… Told me I had 7 cavities and needed a crown. Shocking to me because I’ve never had multiple cavities at once. But I trusted the doctor. Well, the crown came loose in 6 months.

I opted to go back to my family dentist to fix it and they were shocked at how bad the crown was AND they looked at the x-rays and said there had only been ONE definitive cavity.
PS my family dentist teaches at Stonybrook and I’ve gone to them since I was young without incident.
So now I am back at my family dentist.
I will NEVER go back to Sunset nor will I ever recommend Dr Oreste. Bad business from the doctor. It’s a shame too bc the receptionist was very warm and welcoming

To reply to your response sunset dental… my full first name is not Cate, it’s Caitlin. My crown was fixed about 2 years ago by my dentist and I have zero interest in speaking with you. I paid you a lot of money and put my trust in you to be honest and do the right thing. You did not.

I have been a patient of Sunset Dental since inception. I go 4 times per year for cleanings and dental work as needed and always get professional service from Vicki the office manager, Dr. Oreste and the staff throughout. The office staff is always prompt with my appointment time. I rarely have wait.
The office is always very clean and the service is always great.

I have had bad experiences with Dentists and was very nervous when I came here but I have to say that everyone in this office is so welcoming and warm. The staff is so professional and they make you feel comfortable! Dr. Oreste is absolutely AMAZING! She is not only an awesome Dentist but she is also very warm. She makes sure your comfortable and relaxed. I don't feel nervous coming to the Dentist anymore! Thank you Dr. Oreste and Staff!

I have been a patient of this office since Dr Oreste bought this practice. The office is very professional, clean, caring and makes you feel very comfortable going to the dentist. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone who is in need of a great dentist. I also have seen her associate who is also a great addition to this practice.

BEWARE of this CROOKED practice. I went to this office in April, and the young dentist checked my teeth and suspected the nerve in one of my teeth was dead after she tested it and no sensitivity was found. When I saw the owner, Dr. Oreste (at the next visit), she decided to fill that tooth which had a pretty big piece missing, the decay was quite visible, and the root was dead! The findings were in my chart, so she knew what Stephanie (the dentist) determined from the previous visit. I asked Oreste if I can have a problem (later) if she fills that tooth and the root is dead. I learned that an infection CAN develop, and she knew this as well, having "practiced" on patients for 20+ years. She would not answer me, even though I asked twice. Her tech said, "She wants to know if she'll have a problem if you fill the tooth and the nerve is dead. " Oreste then said, "If you have pain or swelling, have it pulled. " WHY WOULD YOU FILL A TOOTH WITH A DEAD NERVE? That is not safe! In addition, after taking x-rays, she told me 7 teeth had cavities and needed to be filled. I went to another dentist 1 1/2 months later, and he said NO cavities were found! WOW! I did not care for her arrogance, either, when I mentioned that whatever was going down my throat while she was drilling, tasted like poison. Her response was "Why, did you ever taste poison, and do you know what it tastes like? " To top all of this off, her receptionist marked the incorrect tooth on the card that I brought to the surgeon for an extraction. TERRIBLE (lack of) care. Stay away! The positive reviews may be fictitious.

Came to Sunset Dental for a checkup. They are so friendly and knowledgeable. Took the time to thoroughly explain a treatment plan with me. Highly recommend this place as they make you feel like family and not a number!

Having anxiety of going to the dentist, this office was absolutely wonderful. Everyone was personable, tried to get to know you, not only as a patient but a person. First time patient and had the best experience at Sunset Dental Care. Dr. Vieira was extremely knowledgeable, thorough, professional and gentle. Her amazing bedside manner made me feel immediately comfortable from start to finish. She was able to fix a food trap (causing discomfort for years) absolutely pain-free and perfectly. I am SO thankful I have found my forever dentist and cannot recommend her highly enough! The BEST dentist I have been to.
