Sunset Ridge Golf Club, Marcellus NY

I liked everything about this course. Some very long holes, so keep that in mind when playing. Difficult course overall.but very nicely maintained.
Hamburgers and hotdogs were very delicious.

First time playing and will be last. Wife hit a nice drive from 1st tee but it hit a wooden post in the middle of the fairway and bounced back! Who puts a yardage post in the middle of fairway!? All of the fairways had one! How simple would it be to remove the posts and insert markers in the grass? But I guess this would cost $! Also cart paths do not transition well into fairways; like driving off a curb. Also, signage is not provided to directions to the next tee box, you have to guess which way to go.

See owners reply. His sarcasm with his reply tells all there is to know. Hmmmm. I wonder if the owner has ever been to Destin? If not maybe one of the “thousands” of people who come to sunset ridge has traveled there and could tell him about it.

Awesome course, would love to see a bench with some sort of shade maybe near the driving range

Even though it was super hot out, we played 18 holes. Nice course, hilly, twisty, couple of interesting par 3s. Clubhouse had food, bar, and air conditioning! Not crowded and pace of play was fine, no waiting. We were there on a Wednesday.

1. If you play in the morning the pro feels it's your responsibility to dry off cart seats?
2. $44 didnt see that price on website anywhere? Tees are bad. Couple greens have huge dead spots. Teeing of at 7am. $44? Wouldnt go back if it was free!
3. Went very early (7am) playing as a single to get out in front of groups because as a single can be very slow during busy times. Well that doesn't work well when pro is sending groups off the.backside as golfers are making the turn? Disrespectful & money hungry!

Greens tend to have debris all over them, wasn't the most impressed with the course. I'd give it a 4/5 out of Ten at best

Nice little course wit a unique set up wth six par 3,4, and 5s. Nice bar and place to eat.

Can't comment on the food but the golf was enjoyable. There are some great holes. Not super expensive and a fun time once you get out there. Staff is also very friendly. Will be returning.

Cons:
- Golf carts are super slow - this is because the paths need an drastic overhaul and the course doesn't want people speeding into a pothole. It's really bad, most people seem to just avoid the paths wherever possible.

-Trash cans are always full, and there are no places to throw your broken tees on the tee box. You're also likely to find an empty can or some other litter on the fairway

Course is challenging, grounds were in great shape when I played.
2021 Pipes Big Payout Tournament was awesome! Andy, Matt and the whole staff were great!

Greens are in great shape tee boxes need a lot of work some fairways could use grass seed owners could be more personalbly

This was a fun course. The fairways were fair and the greens were fast. Conditions were great for the time of year, not too muddy. Honestly just a great course. Only complaint is some of the tee boxes are not very close by the previous greens making it not the most walkable of courses. Lots of fun though and a great variety.

Very nice course.what really is appreciated is the Driving range on the side! You can warm uP or like today just practice. Professional course for sure
