Sunshine Learning Center of Jackson Ave LLC, Bronx NY

This is a wonderful and amazing place for my kids, they’ve been there for the last 3 years and I have no complaints my kids love all staff cause all of them are kind and show love to every kid that comes in the building.

My son attended this school for not even a month before he got kicked out.
They were very unprofessional with my son and didn’t care for him as they did with the other kids. My son can be a handful sometimes but they completely neglected my child and needless to say my child returned home to me telling me that staff put him in the bathroom with the lights off because he was being mean and wouldn’t calm down. The school is lovely but the workers are COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL.

They complained about my son more than the other kids and made weird accusations about him also. My son is 4years old. He’s a sweet boy with attitude and if a 4 year old could get you that mad ; maybe the people who are working here, shouldn’t be.

This school I thought they had the kids best interest up front instead my child can’t go back to this school and was told my child can’t attend summer camp by Latisha Linton at last minute qq
My child had issues like any other child but they took it upon themselves to handle it and not set up a meeting to discuss a plan to deal with it
Instead they dismissed my child
I feel this school failed at supporting my child and just passed the buck to another school

Generally I don’t leave reviews, but this place is phenomenal so I feel compelled to do so. Sunshine Learning Center should be the standard to which educational facilities are held. It’s not one of those place where you drop your child off and have to worry about them throughout the day. My godson has the best time everyday. He’s learned so much in the little time that he’s been here. Sometimes, he even cries to leave. The staff posts pictures of them daily and also what they’re up to and why they’re engaging in the activities. If you live in the Bronx and you’re looking for a daycare, look no further- please do your child a favor and enroll them here.

My son first started attending Sunshine Jackson in the Pandas classroom when he was 2 years old (now 3 1/2). From the first week my son has been captivated by the the bright, inviting classrooms, daily learning activities, adventures to the playground, and overall nuturing environment.

I feel very comfortable leaving my son at school with his dedicated teacher Ms. Rachel in her Peacocks classroom each morning. Ms. Rachel utilizes innovative techniques to keep her young learners engaged, while also allowing my son to embrace his individuality and reach his full learning potential. Ms. Lily, Ms. Tiffany, and Mr. Will always provide support in the classroom with a smile and an enthusiam to learn each day. Ms. Tavia and Ms. Tisha are the eyes and ears of Sunshine Jackson always keeping parents informed, while providing encouragement every step of the way. Sunshine Jackson has become extended family caring for my son as if he was their own; often sending photos/videos, messages, and emails through the Tadpoles app.

Sunshine Jackson is my son's home away from home, my sense of peace and security. I highly recommend Sunshine Jackson and their staff, as I truly appreciate how they care for my son. Keep up the great work!

My daughter has been attending Sunshine since the age of 2. I’m very happy with how caring the teachers and staff are with my daughter who is now 4 years old. She loves going to school. As a parent I appreciate the professionalism, cleanliness, caring family atmosphere from the staff at Sunshine. Thank you for your dedication to the children.

Sunshine Learning Center has been a great experience so far. Teachers and staff have been very helpful in every way and my kids are learning very quickly. Thankful everyday for them!

My son has been a student at this sunshine location for 3 years. We have had an amazing experience thus far. The staff is amazing and always available when you need them or if issues arise. There are plenty of activities throughout the year that keeps the children engaged and learning. We feel safe sending our child here it almost feels like the staff has become a part of our family.

We have been with Sunshine 4yrs! The admin staff are always available for questions or concerns. It's comforting knowing they are open to feedback and needs for your child. The teachers are loving and helpful. I have a picky eater and the teacher makes sure she has eaten during lunch and snacks times. The best is the photos they send of your child during the day. Would recommend this location in a blink.
