Super 8 by Wyndham Lake George/Warrensburg Area

Close to highway, dog friendly and super staff. Late night grocer just there and McDonald's across the street.

I arrived at 5 pm I was greeted by the person at the desk rudely not a courtesy I was expecting when he acknowledged that I had a reservation everything was ok he came off as a person that sees people trying to sneak into the hotel all the time than I walk down the hall around all the kids running up and down the hallway like it was Disney world

This is a very cute hotel inside and out. The staff working there are friendly, efficient, and helpful. It is clean and very reasonably priced. We have stayed here twice now. This last time was on Christmas but no one was cranky for having to work. It is obviously not a luxury hotel. But for what it is I really love it. Even the furniture is styled to the area. We will stay here again if we are in the area.

Once again super 8 accommodated us and our dog on short notice so I could be close to work after losing heat and power due to Friday's storm.
Cozy room, comfy bed, great staff and plenty of hot water for a relaxing bath after a hard day.

Well worth a two day stay to be in town safe and warm. Thanks for always being our refuge when neded.

Nice clean room with bad customer service. Hire someone who wants to work please.and en envelope for tipping in my room? Is that new? Never seen it in our preview visit with other Wyndham.

It was okay, definitely more of a drop your stuff and go type place. Room was a little cramped for a family of 4. There was a lack of outlets, we were unplugging the lamps to charge our phones and then had to plug the lamps in to see at night. There were bugs on the little table they provide in the rooms as well as in our sink. Bathroom is small and very minimal counter space to place stuff on. Did have some plumbing issues when our room's toilet continued to flush and then overflow onto the floor. We stayed with a softball team and found it hard to hang out as a team together with very few hang out spots. No pool to come back too after softball games. Overall wasn't too bad, not a full disappointment but could use some work before we stay again.

The room was decent, the service was not.

The front desk guy Ed had a very unprofessional attitude, appeared to roll his eyes at one point, even told us to move our trucks to an unsecured location in a parking lot nearby (where we had no permission to do so from that particular business), because the rooms were all sold out but come 2AM the parking spaces we had initially parked in still remained visibly empty. A little professionalism would help this place out tremendously.

Overpriced for such a dirty place.
Smelled like a swimming pool.
But there was no pool.
Mediocre rooms.
Why advertise Breakfast when your Breakfast area is closed.

The overall stay was ok, the staff was nice and the room was clean. But there was a strong chemical smell when we first entered the room and even after opening the window it didn’t really go away. The biggest downer was the Breakfast: a huge reason for choosing this hotel was the included breakfast but when we went to get breakfast (which is from 6-9am!) the breakfast room was closed and they told us the coffee bar with old, prepackaged muffins was the breakfast. This was really frustrating and after complaining we were told it was because of covid. (So since 3 years it says on the website they offer breakfast even though they really don’t).

General Manager, staff members and the facility let our family feel welcome and at home. We will definitely stay at this super 8 again next time

We loved that it was dog friendly! The front desk person was NOT friendly and when we called to ask questions before we got there he acted like we were bothering him. Room was dirty and outside area there was trash everywhere. The dog area outside was bad. There was a coffee lid on the floor with bugs and cobwebs in the room. I would not stay here again!

Very clean and comfortable spot! One of the nicest Super 8's I've stayed in. If I was back in the area I'd definitely come back to this hotel. Easy access to 9 and 87 from the hotel, too.

The rooms are as cozy inside as the hotel looks from the outside. Comfortable and dog-friendly, with a small grocers across the road for healthy travel food.

This hotel was in ok condition but such a lovely staff. The beds were comfortable and it was more of a homey hotel. Perhaps the rooms could offer a desk and chair but just a preference.

Definitely a previously designated smoking room. Or maybe still is? Bright sign from grocery store next door was on all night shining right in our beds but curtains didn't go far enough to block it fully. Breakfast, probably just shouldn't even bother offering it. DD is right next door.

We had a great stay here with my family. The room is quite small but homey. Beds are comfy and clean. The only downside is breakfast. They only have blueberry and choco muffins, coffee tea etc but it's not really a problem. Highly recommended!

The rooms were pretty clean and the wood furniture with the wood wall accent was very nice, definitely went with the log cabin feel.

Comfy hotel with kind staff, you get more than what you need for the price you pay. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a convenient, pet-friendly - but very tired - property. On our first stay the mini fridge leaked all over the (uncarpeted) floor. On our most recent stay, the Mute on the tv remote didn't work, one of the two wall outlets available (there need to be more) was so worn out that all of our device plugs just fell right out. And a dog in a nearby room just wouldn't stop barking at 2am - that is, until the second I hung up from calling the front desk.
If you're not fussy, need to be near Bolton Landing or Warrensburg, and value convenience over quality, it's a good spot to stay. Altho there are slightly less expensive pet-friendly places down in Queensbury.
