Super 8 by Wyndham Lake George/Downtown

Didn't look anything at all like the photos. Having spent a couple of days this week at Hard Rock Cafe in Atlantic City paying half the price of this place. When arrived everything did not look as in the pictures. When I checked in asked i asked that if I needed to cancel following night stay if there was a fee I was told that I wouldn't get a refund because I booked thru bookings.com. Then went into the room and there was a musty smell to the room. No microwave. Went to use the bathroom and wall paper under the window was peeling off. All in all place ok if you paying 50 or 60 bucks a night. I was charged 230 for 2 nights. Really not worth it. Lost my $ but it is what it is.

The staff was excellent and the owners are incredibly nice. I really loved my stay here and highly recommend this hotel. Close to everything and enjoyed every minute. Thank you Vinny, Jody, Vinny Jr and Nick!

This is not your regular Super 8. Friendly family owned. Decent rooms. Nothing fancy but clean and good value for the area. Both young and older Vinnie are great!

The rooms are a bit dated and lacking power outlets, but the staff is super courteous and the rooms are very, very clean. I can not stress that enough. It's very clean, so definitely worth looking into. I will be staying here again the next time I'm up here on vacation.

Five star rating for a two star hotel. Clean place with the nicest owners. Friendly service with complimentary ice cream and root beer floats for kids and adults. Family owned and operated. Thanks for the hospitality!

Very simple, clean, small fridge, bathroom very small and no fan.but otherwise a nice place to stay at.staff very nice

I came in very tired and frustrated and the owner gave our family a friendly welcome. I only intended to have a quick stay but I ended up wanting to stay another day but they were booked. The room was clean and updated. They have a nice pool and the fire pit adds a nice touch. Great location and aStewart’s right across the street which was a great convenience to me.

The Super8 is an ok 3 stars hotel. We enjoyed our stay as we spent only two nights at Lake George, but we wouldn't stay more.

Room was clean, you have anything you'll need (towels, shower gels, shampoo, etc.)

The hotel have a swimming pool, but unfortunately, it is placed in front of the main road (every cars pass by there).

The hotel offers a free parking and coffee.

Staff is very nice!

However, I wouldn't recommend the hotel for a romantic stay.

The room had a funky smell when I first entered. Everything else was fine, it's close to the Lake, the workers are very nice and the bathroom (although small) is clean.

I was there from Friday to Monday I had such a great weekend. Very clean and lots of fun for kids. Close to everything in Lake George. There hospitality was excellent. I Will definitely will go back next summer. Thanks Vinnie! Your Awesome!

This place was decent, however, the price for the night during the americade was insane (198 usd for one night, instead of the usual 68 usd per night)

Well Worth the Money!
Not a 5 Star place however, very clean and reasonable priced. They also have an outdoor pool. Staff friendly & helpful! We Enjoyed our stay as we were in the area for a Wedding.

Friendly service, nice location at the southern end of Lake George Village so you can walk to anywhere with relative ease. Only downside is the provided breakfast is a bit sparse compared to other Windham hotels I've stayed at.

Staff is great. Jodie at the front desk is like an old friend. Always there with great advice. Rooms are good. Clean and well kept. You can here the road from the front units, but being from a home near an expressway it lulls me to sleep. The walls are thin, just hope for nice neighbors. Location is great with access to whatever you need. Becky and Sam in housekeeping make you feel at home as well. Not the Carlton, but I liked it.

Friendly staff & convenient parking. The room was acceptable, be it a little dated in decor. The room was clean, but things like rusty bathroom heat vents and the occasional carpenter ant kept it from a better review. I would still stay here again for the price.

The staff was helpful in providing options for dinner and recommendations for entertainment. The room was clean and was great for the price.

Lots of parking, friendly front staff. A little far out of town, but there was a lovely fire pit available outside!

Best place ever stayed in lake george. Loved the fireplace such a relaxing spot. This will be my place every year. Vinnie is so nice and welcoming, making you feel at home.tks again.

The location is great. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming. Price was decent.

The rooms were clean and fresh. The pool was heated and a great size for the kids. The continental breakfast was adequate. Nothing to great but fed everyone for the morning. The best part was the proximity to downtown. Was able to walk to the beach and the shopping district.
