Sushi & Kimchi, Nyack NY

I absolutely LOVE the food here. It’s immensely Fresh and the chef and staff really take their time and prepare a great experience. It’s hands down the best Japanese food in All of rockland county. Everything is very reasonably priced as well. Love this place!

Yesterday evening we dined at Sushi & Kimchi in Nyack, NY
It's bright, lovely establishment with good energy. The sushi platter and the various rolls we tasted were delicious and the service provided was both friendly and attentive.
Gina & Moon, the proprietors, made sure that every need we had was promptly addressed.
The prices were reasonable and in line with other dining establishments in the county

Went with my son for lunch and enjoyed it very much. We had CHIRASHI Donburi and BULGOGI HOT STONE BIBIMBAP. They were awesome and came with soup and salad. Waitress was nice as well.

My sister takes me here every time she visits home from college. The owner knows my sister and her friends since they would all go very often before college started up. She is a very kind and hard working woman who makes sure all her customers are happy. The food is amazing every single time we go. We went last night and I ordered their Nyack roll, which was a very complicated sushi with many ingredients. It took a bit longer than the other sushi orders to come out, understandably, but the wait was so worth it. They tasted incredible. We also ordered a few soups, yaki udon, and a bulgogi bbq platter. Every single bite is always delicious, even if it’s a food I’m not partial to, like kimchi. Everything about the food and atmosphere is wonderful.

10/10, from ambiance, to service, to food. Drove all the way from Manhattan to eat here and it was sooooo worth it. Such a cozy, friendly spot with fresh delicious food and amazing service. Will be coming back here again and again <3

Wonderful place. I have ordered here twice now and both times everything was great. The way the food is packed, to go nothing ever spills. The women that works the front is very nice and hard working.

Came here on a Friday night with my family and had a wonderful dining experience. Service was amazing and food was delicious, fresh, and flavorful. Will absolutely be returning.

Super fresh and delicious Korean & Japanese at reasonable prices. I drive from Ridgewood to Nyack because the food is better quality, especially more than the hibachi places near me. I just had the BBQ beef bowl and it was amazing. The miso soup is high quality and flavorful and the ginger salad dressing is very fresh. The husband is in charge of the sushi and they use really fresh fish. The wife manages the restaurant and is very kind. The owners are so nice and the staff are friendly. We always have a great meal and a good time here. Please come and support their local business!

Delicious Korean and sushi! A husband and wife team. We went here after a day at the palisades mall and it hit the spot. We had dol sot bibimbap, sushi deluxe, fried rice and bbq rice bowls. The Korean side dishes were excellent and the sushi really high quality. We’ll definitely come back.

Came here on a Saturday night and couldn't be happier. The korean BBQ was authentic and the sushi was super fresh. We tried the bibimbop, the korean bbq bowl, and the sushi deluxe, and all were delicious. The owners were also super nice and friendly! The prices are great, and it's also right near palisades mall, so eat here instead of the food court!

I pulled into the parking lot to buy some tools and I noticed a nice big sign sushi and kimchee I was very excited I love kimchi I walked in I asked the girl at the front desk who was a brand new employee I would like to order a small portion of the kimchi she said it was five dollars I said no problem she then proceeded to make a phone call in which the owner had gotten back on the phone and said because I’m not ordering any other meals it’s $7.50 I left and I said OK fine let me see the menu show me where kimchi is on the menu maybe I’ll order a different variety she said kimchi is not listed on the menu I pointed out the name of the restaurant and said thanks but no thanks and walked out I don’t think it’s fair that because I wasn’t dining in or ordering more food that the price went up based off of nothing. It was lunchtime and the place was completely empty and guessing that’s just a red flag in itself—- in your response… which I can’t understand yours… she called the “owner” they told her two different prices. Poor business strategy. I suggest fixing employee relations.
