Sushi You reviews
13 I was brought here by a colleague who is a regular here.
There was no sense of flavor arrangement unique to New York sushi, and I enjoyed the fresh ingredients as if I were in Japan. The seaweed was handled well, and the sushi was especially delicious with salmon roe and salmon.
The noodle salad and egg rolls are also recommended. Only the takowasa felt like it lacked a bit of punch even with the addition of wasabi.
Although it is American rice, the balance of rice and vinegar is just right for the toppings, and I would definitely come back again during lunch time.
Maybe the best meal experience I’ve ever had. I could happily listen to Miku san talk about sushi and wrestling during every meal!
This lovely Japanese sushi place had not only high quality of sushi, you can also get delicious food from their kitchen. I visited this place around 2016 and this place never changes. Recommend to visit this place during the lunch time as well.
Service from the owner and one waitress, impeccable. Local, good vibes, old school in a good way. Amazing sashimi and sushi, will be back for sure
Hit this up on a Wednesday for lunch! Such an amazing deal and the chef was super generous!
We got Combo C for $68/each. It was ramen and 7 piece omakase.
It’s a true hidden gem! Make a reso and head over!
Been coming here for years. Best chirashi bowl in nyc hands down. Not sure how many people know about this spot and I almost don’t want to share this secret gem! I love the random retro Japanese tv they play in the background sometimes. Hostess and sushi chef are so nice. Service is fast and efficient. Small spot with limited seating so I recommend making a reservation.
Best chirashi bowl and service I’ve ever experienced in my ten years of living here. I wish I could come eat here everyday. The ambiance is absolutely perfect. Thank you to the staff and chef!
Absolutely the best. Fresh and tasty. I used to eat their sushi for lunch on a regular basis but i once went for dinner and their appetizers were all a 10 out of 5. They are not open when I can go unfortunately…. But as soon as my schedule changes again, I am there!
Such an amazing and authentic experience. Chef Miku, his wife, and the rest of the staff were so genuine and kind. We stumbled upon this place shortly after moving to the neighborhood and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this place!
This is a very intimate little sushi experience.miku is super fun and loves disco and old school Japanese media.it's always a fun experience to dine here
Authentic, really good omakase (best I've had so far)! Will definitely come back again:)
The food is delicious! They also have a variety of Japanese sake.
It's a slightly unusual and manic shop that plays music videos from the 1970s and 1980s of the Showa era in Japan. Happy for the old man generation.
We accidentally stumbled upon this restaurant and it was one of the best sushi places we’ve ever been to. The freshest fish, kindest owners and the best experience we had our entire trip. Thank you! We can’t wait to come visit you again:)
