Sutherland House Victorian B & B, Canandaigua NY

We had a wonderful visit a Sutherland Bed and Breakfast. We were in the area for wine touring. The house is charming, and rooms were clean and welcoming! The staff is very kind. Breakfast was amazing.three beautiful courses. Would definitely stay here again.

What a beautiful gem Canadaguia has. The accomodations were perfect. The staff was so friendly and went over and above to make sure the guests were comfortable. I will definitely make a trip back. Thank you for the hospitality.

We stayed for a night in the Parker Suite and it was beyond beautiful and comfortable. The room options were affordable and the hosts were easy to reach. The overall home is amazing and breakfast was beyond anything we expected. Soooo much food I was done eating for the day. We will be back soon!

Best place to stay to explore the Finger Lakes. Lots to do nearby.hike Hi Tor, explore Bristol Mountain, shop at Eastview Mall, drink at all the local wineries. All of the great Finger Lake waterfall hikes aren't far away. The house is beautiful and welcoming. The service and food is great, I highly recommend visiting if you are looking for a place to get out of one of the big cities!

We've been wanting to stay at Sutherland House for quite a while and we're glad we finally did! (We stayed the last weekend of October 2022). The house is located very close to Canandaigua and the Victorian architectural details are beautiful. We had a warm and welcome greeting upon arrival and enjoyed the cozy comfort of our room. Our hosts were always available if we needed their assistance. We stayed two nights and the breakfasts just got better as we stayed - the parfait and breakfast pizza were especially delicious. We'll definitely be back again!

Outstanding Victorian B&B inside and out! So well kept and beautifully decorated! Clean! Each breakfast was cooked perfectly, we enjoyed every course. There were even fresh baked cookies daily for us to enjoy. Faye & Bob were perfect hosts, so kind and knowledgeable.
We most definitely will be returning! ️

We were in town for a few days for a wedding at the Lake and stayed at Bob and Faye's BNB. It was located on beautiful grounds just minutes from the Lake. The BNB had everything you needed, including delicious home-baked cookies waiting for you at any time of the day! Bob and Faye were great hosts, and assisted in whatever we needed or required during our stay. We would definitely recommend.

My fiancé (now wife) and I stayed at the Sutherland House last summer during a birthday weekend getaway. The pictures truly cannot do justice to this beautiful house and picturesque property. Our room was pristine and cozy, and Bob and Faye certainly made us feel like welcomed guests throughout our stay. The amenities were outstanding, and the food was nothing short of exquisite! Every morning was a delightful surprise to find out what culinary masterpieces would be coming out from the kitchen that day! If you’re in the area and looking for an idyllic backdrop for a comfortable, welcoming B&B, definitely book with the Sutherland House!

We were in town on a trip to go back to visit my relatives and enjoy the lake and sightseeing in the area. The breakfasts were really good! Loved the steel cut oats baked with creme brûlée topping and the cut fruit with mint! Faye was very responsive on food preferences since I am not a fan of eggs but Faye gave me the eggs benedict sides without the eggs along with other menu items! All excellent! Also, the cookies upstairs were delicious. My husband got to try the butterscotch cookies and I had the molasses. All fresh and tasty! The room had a very comfortable pillow and mattress on 2nd floor. We were able to chat with another couple about our trip and it was very enjoyable!

We stayed here last weekend and it was so lovely. The grounds were beautiful, lots of tables and gardens to enjoy and relax. The house was located close enough to the center of Canandaigua for when wanting to take part in town activities or go to restaurants, yet far enough away to enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. Our room was cozy - a super comfortable bed and spacious bathroom with jacuzzi. We were most impressed with the little details - anything you needed was available in the room, or in the hallway (water, fridge, fresh baked cookies, additional coffee). And the gourmet breakfast was delicious. Bob and Faye are a great team, and it's a very special place!

Beautiful home, wonderful hosts, literally no amenity was omitted. Oh, and the breakfast was a-maz-ing! If you are a tea drinker, be sure to request your own personal pot of tea for breakfast!

Had a fantastic time here. The breakfasts are amazing. The rooms are very nice and clean. Only a mile or two from great restaurants in Canadaigua and only 15 minutes from Geneva and Seneca Lake. Would definitely recommend.

This is a beautiful Victorian style house, inside and out. Bob & Faye were fabulous hosts.and the breakfasts were unbelievably delicious (thanks, Faye). If you are going anywhere near Canandigua Lake, staying here would enhance your visit.

It’s an old house that is a little quirky but super clean. The bed was the best of our trip. The hosts consider every detail and breakfast was terrific!
