Sutton Park Center For Nursing & Rehabilitation, New Rochelle NY

They took good care of me, got me walking with little aid. Any problems or concerns were quickly addressed.

The care I received from Sutton Park was excellent! Mark and the rehab team were so helpful. My social worker Annetta was a dream. Any help I needed she showed up for me. Rene and the recreation department hosted great food socials and events. My nurse Latoya and the short term unit are the best. Thank you all for taking care of me. Leila the administrator thank you. My name is Edward Richardson. I am here for rehab care. Since I am in this facility, I have been receiving physical therapy and occupational therapy twice per day. My two therapists are very professional and attentive to my needs The nursing team, especially the nurse manager Latoya, is very sensitive to my medical needs. The CNA, s are very professional and kind to all patients on the units. My social worker,
Annetta, she is very thorough, dedicated, and professional in doing her job. She is well dressed every day. My recreational activity director, Rene, is very professional, thorough, and supportive. She makes me feel good. CNA Lewis, is very reliable and consistent in doing his job. The administrator Leila is very nice and involved in all patient care. I would recommend the facility to all people to receive the help that they need.

The management is garbage. Very unprofessional and unorganized and I only worked there though an app. I do not recommend working there if you want to keep your license.

Glad to be at Sutton Park because it help me so much with my rehab before I couldn't do nothing now I can do much more than I thought I ever thought I would do again. Thanks to Nurse Sheree Denny because I acknowledged that she's the first one in and the last to leave and she is so helpful even when she's busy she stops to help those who's always in need thanks to her alot things go right I can always depend on her.

I am a resident here right now. And the staff from 3 pm to 11pm are horrible. They ignore the bell when you push it. Last night I told the nurse I needed an aid. She said I get her. The aid didn't come. So I pressed the buzzer again. I waited an hour and a half. No one came so I got up to assist myself.

There were aids in the hall and the nurses station talking about ignoring the bells and not going in the rooms. Another thing if you ask them nurses from 3pm to 11pm for your medication they will scream at you and treat you like a dog. But this sister stopped them in their tracks.

I'm not going to say that everyone is bad here. The 11pm to 7am and 7 am to 3pm staff are awesome. They are so kind, caring & warm. What is so bad is that their attitudes. And they never apologize for their behavior as if it's okay to act like this.

Their actions are bringing down the rest of this faculty. Because the Physical Therapy department is A+. I couldn't walk when I got here. I was hit by a motorcycle. I was being pushed around in a wheelchair. I'm walking again. Not like before. But I'm walking

But I'm leaving before my PT is done because I'm tired of this behavior. I'm losing myself here. I'm a Christian and I feel like the old me is going to come back if I stay quiet and keep accepting this abuse. This is a job of service. Why take this job if your only intention is to get a pay check and hurt people.

If you or if you plan to bring a family member here for physical therapy, it's worth it. But you all are going to have to be strong. If not don't come because you are going to have to put up with a lot mess.

Sorry be I have to be honest. It's not just me. I've witnessed how badly the treat other residents. The disrespect is out of control and when you report it to administration they seem not to care.

Dirty filthy. ROACH INFESTED PLACE. AND AS FAR AS I SEEN. THEY FOUGHT WITH M Y SISTER WHO WENT THRU BRAIN SURGERY. They stole clothes and money I wouldn't. Send MY enemy there

A really great facility to work or go to, management cares about creating a great facility!

My grandfather went to this facility and I have to say it’s one of the best you can go to. Therapy, nursing and recreations went beyond anything I could’ve expected and the care my grandfather received was amazing. For therapy, Tiju, Marcia and yari constantly visited him and made sure he was comfortable and gave him the support he needed during this time. For the aides who are the first people your loved ones see, Monica and Angela were amazing. Fast responses to any bell my grandfather rang, always attentive and caring to him. Truly amazing. The nurses who gave him his meds, Ms. Reid and Ms. Spencer were always on time and very clear about what he was taking and why. All the departments are amazing, housekeeping constantly working and cleaning the floors. Recreations having new activities for my grandfather and others to attend. Dietary makes some of the best food in this field and truly feels like a home cooked meal. Administration is always available and the front desk is always kind. If you’re looking for a place to send your loved one for rehab or nursing care please send them here.

Horrible place for visitors. Because staff holds up elevator constantly and have no respect for visitors.

The staff has been outstanding during a difficult time of transition for my husband. A special thank you to Leila Xhudo, Mark Orido, Annetta Grey, Latoya Pearce-Kyer, Rene Mitchell, Maddie Ziff and Delores Bolding. Their compassion, understanding, patience and caring for both myself and my husband has exceeded my expectations. It is stressful to trust a loved ones care to “strangers” but I can now sleep at night knowing he is safe and cared for by a great team. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you do to take care of the love of my life!

This nursing home is horrible. The staff well most of them aren’t professional. Do not send a “loved one” there because if you do, you don’t really love them. The rooms look disgusting and the walls are peeling. My mother is a resident and they have been giving me a hard time to remove her from their facility.

Horrible, terrible, awful nursing home. They expect nurses to work alone with 40 plus patients. No leadership or organization, the place is dirty, and the staffer have no idea what she is doing

Terribly depressing place to work or “live”. Just there to milk residents of their medicare until they die. The owner and director of nursing Cindy couldn’t care less about anyone there. Really despicable people.

I like the way the Nurses, and Social workers are hands on with my dad. They keep me up to date with his care and call me with issues and or concerns pertaining to my dad's care

Today was the first time I had been in Sutton Park Center. The smell of this facility was different much cleaner. The air was much fresher, and the reception from workers was surprisingly different. My whole attitude is different now and I will communicate this to everyone that I meet. Blessings to Management
