Sweeney's Irish Pub, Walden NY

Our hostess Danica was great. My wife's order was late coming out of the kitchen. Great atmosphere friendly staff. Our little town Walden needs a restaurant open 6 days a week.

Average pub food at best nothing spectacular. The atmosphere is nice if the bar scene is your thing. Not sure if I would visit this restaurant in the future.

Great old school Irish pub atmosphere! We arrived around 9 pm and it was great we were able to still order dinner. The Dublin steak sandwich was very large and the Reuben was we a decent size. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We would return again in the future!

Wish we had more time to stay and drink with the local crowd. You know when your Irish beer is served by someone with an Irish accent that you are in the right place.

Good food, fantastic servers. We came with a party of eight and even though they were hosting an event, they were very gracious in accommodating our party.

Edit: Came back about one year later (7/10/23) and service and food were just as good as last year

It's a little compact for dining in, but the food is worth it.

Always a pleasure here. Everyone is so nice. The place is clean and the service is quick and excellent.

Owner came over and spoke with my son and offered ice cream for being such an awesome kid. Sat down and told some stories of the old country like we were family.

Seems to be a local favorite. We had burgers and chicken sandwich. Both were very good and big. Very lively place. Reasonable prices.

By far the best burger I’ve had in a long time. Very friendly staff and very clean. I’ll definitely make the drive from Pennsylvania to go back very soon.

In town from Kentucky. Stopped in on a Friday night for dinner and enjoyed it enough to come back Sunday evening.

The best spot in the village of Walden! They also carry most soccer leagues for the avid fan, which is hard to find in bars these days!
