The real New York we love. A quaint little book store full of details and fine things to be discovered. This is what makes a cultural treasure, books some vinyl records and real athmosphere. Friendly staff. We can't wait to go back when in NY.

Best feeling to find a used book that’s exactly what you’ve been looking for! I love sci-fi and fantasy and Sweet Pickle Books has a really good selection. Always look forward to stopping by, and I hope they continue to thrive.

Wasn’t aware of the guidelines took one hour to get there with all my books and found out they only accept donations on Tuesdays and Wednesday. Was very disappointed but will go back again

Sweet Pickle Books is a treasure. I've never met a bookstore I didn't like, but this one definitely has a magic to it. Nestled in the heart of the LES, here you will find a large, well-organized selection of used books spanning ever genre imaginable, cute hand-written signs, adorable merch, and of course the store's own line of pickles! An absolute must-visit for any book, pickle, and/or NYC history lover.

Such a great little used bookstore with a healthy selection for pretty much every genre. I love that they accept book donations in exchange for a jar of pickles. And, the pickles are fantastic!

An absolutely amazing little used book store. I happened upon a textbook I needed to get for such an affordable price. And I have to mention the dill pickles I bought are the absolute best pickles I ever had. Definitely gonna need to go back here again.

Bad service, not willing to help. Some books on the shelves are "not for sale" even though they are on the shelves Would not recommend. Go on abebooks instead

Nice vibe. The pickle theme is fun. Books remain a bit pricey for used ones but there are some rare finds.
