Sweet Surrender Bake House, Levittown NY

The worst. Ordered a custom cake after much research and discussion with staff. After $590, the cake was sloppily made and looked like a children’s art project. Sent an email to complain and was told they stand by their terrible work and offered me $25. If I could give them less than 1 star I would.

Got our Too Good To Go surprise bag last night. A dozen assorted donuts and other stuff plus two loaves of bread, one with sesame seeds and one plain. Just great.

If you have time on your hands this is the perfect place to go. The place is perfectly located, smells delicious, tastes delicious just plan on spending 30 mins while you wait to gather a dozen cookies.

I stopped for some donuts, and the woman working was very friendly. It is very hard to find good bakeries on Long Island, and this place has many Italian favorites. Delights your senses when you enter.

Was in this bakery on Thursday 4/27/23 I have to say everything looked good. Purchased a Black and White ring cake served it after dinner and was not happy. When slicing the frosting was so hard that it crumbled also the cake was so dry even a sip of coffee didn't help. I don't know how long this cake was on shelf, but I can say it was not fresh and ended up in the garbage. I was also with a friend who ended up buying cookies by the pound her husband tried to eat one and it was not fresh either. I have had the black and white cake and I never had this problem. Will not go back.

Owner is so sweet got stuff for my sons group home and she gave me extra something for them.

My family and I love this bakery! It's our go-to for birthday cakes. Everything is always delicious and fresh. The woman that works there are always nice! I highly recommend this bakery.

One of the best bakeries on Long Island. Delicious canolli donut.not to mention tiramasu, exclaims, napoleons.this list goes on and on.

I've always had a good experience with the desserts from here, however today we went later in the day and got all stale pastries. It would've been nice to let us know when we were deciding what is fresh and whats not. The ones we picked were probably getting ready to be thrown out! Very disappointing.especially when driving 20 minutes just to come here.

I have been going to this bakery for over 30 years since it was called the levittown bakery. They definitely cleaned it up with the new ownership. They always had the best jelly and Boston cream doughnuts. Recently, they changed the jelly in their doughnuts, when I brought them to our last family gathering everyone agreed the Jelly is not what it used to be. The Boston cream is still very good. We also get their rolls often. I had gotten a cake there once (dont remember under what ownership) and it was so dry inside I never got another one again. They do have other good things in there that they bake fresh daily. I do recommend going there to give it a try.
