Delivery Service sweetgreen reviews
15 As always food is amazing at SG but the service at this specific location could use alot of work. The queer white man that helped me out had a lot of sass and was slightly rude when telling me all my extra additions were extra. The other woman that helped my boyfriend chopped and tossed his salad even after multiple times telling her no. The whole place smelled like sweet potato and workers are either rude, dont know english or can’t hear well.
(Also nowhere to sit)
Extremely slow service, didn’t listen to my order & had to be corrected …. And handed me the wrong salad in the end, which I discovered once was away from the store. Don’t go to this location!
Never again. Absolute chaos. Ordered a 12: 45 pickup online because of a very limited lunch break. Received an email saying it was ready @ 12: 35. It wasn’t there and it was chaos. They clearly take on more scheduled orders than they can handle. Staff was flippant and indifferent. Worst sweetgreen experience
I do think their menu is lacking a bit. Especially with the cheese options. They were also running out of stuff by 1 pm. Total lack of seating in the restaurant was also a little annoying. Overall the salad was decent
This location can be very chaotic with a long line if there is a rush. However, I've only had good experiences with pre-order and MealPal, and the portions were actually better than another location in my work neighborhood and the service better than in my home neighborhood. This chain will probably always be controversial; they are on the pricer side of salad restaurants and not everyone's taste, but they have been consistent and use quality ingredients in my experience. But I'm used to midtown prices and weird timing of lines/demand and occasional shortages at the end of the day.
There is no immediate seating area in the storefront but you can dine in the building or outside; it's in the basement level so not what I would consider an amazing atmosphere. The store is clean and bright at least.
I don't quite understand, why this location is getting such bad ratings. To be fair, I had pretty low expectations as I took a look at the ratings online, but my experience proved me wrong.
The location was pretty empty when I dropped by, there was only one other customer in line before me on a Thursday afternoon at roughly 4PM.
My order was processed by a very kind, polite and attentive employee, who basically asked me every step of the way how to prepare the bowl, the amount of sauce to apply, explained the spice level of the hot sauce, and every ingredient from the salad to the chicken was balanced in its quantity.
The bowl was extremely delicious, the amount of food was more than I expected, and I don't see any kind of disrespectful behavior on part of the staff here.
Maybe things have changed after the aforementioned reviews, and if they have, then to the better.
Thanks for the delicious food and thank you for the exceptional service and experience.
At this location i can see why kow stars.the staff should know ingredients that go in their salads!? Missing putting in the essential ingredients (theres a list they read from too) that make up specific salads is ridiculous.also forgetting the romaine in a salad that is a SALAD and lists it as a ingredient is just plain odd.on salad #2 paid 20 00 for a bowl of lettuce other ingredients were scarce and the hunt and peck game was not worth the money.if you eat here pay attention when they make it, chances are it will be wrong if you don't.
We are from Singapore and was visiting NY. Being a salad lover, we tried a few salad shops in NYC, where some are franchises. SG is better than many of the commonly found salad shop around the town.
1. The menu is understandable but you may want to add in the prices for additionals top ups.
2. The staff attending to me was friendly, esp being in NY where normally we get a cold interaction. I was not too sure on my order being a 1st timer customer, he explained it to me well.
3. Did not see options of drinks such as smoothie or fresh juice. That will be better if available.
4. SG is also commonly means Singapore. Just for fun to see your brand as such, haha
I went in yesterday for the first time in this location there was this one worker who had great customer service. I believe her name was juli she was the only one on the line but did her best to get through with the customers
I haven’t been to other sweetgreens but I’ve ordered twice from here and the food from here is always very good. It’s a little expensive compared to nearby options (but healthier, probably!), and if you show up at or just after noon on a weekday the line is usually pretty long, but I’ve found it to be worth the cost and wait.
Edit: If you order ahead on their app, you can skip the wait entirely. Definitely the way to go if you can.
I’ve been twice and both times my order was messed up. I’d skip this location and find something else. Not worth the hassle, especially for a $20 salad.
I work in the bldg and use to enjoy their salads but my last 3 experiences were bad. Two small cube pieces of chicken first time. No chicken the second time. No Brussel sprouts in a salad where that's the main ingredient 3rd time (container less than half full) plus I got sick. Since I order to go I didn't realize there were problems right away.
I figure any place can have an off day but these are pricey salads and that's 3 strikes. Not going back unless a coworker confirms they've straightened their issues out.
Phenomenal epicurean lunch experience in 30 Rock! Please try the hot honey chicken. Thank you sweetgreen!
My bowl was very sloppy and thrown together in a rush (and I get that it’s a busy location). It looks like a toddler put it together. Did not look appetizing at all. Not ordering ahead again if I ever get anything from this location.
A truly amazing experience. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Especially Najah and Britney, who had such a good attitude and made the atmosphere of the whole restaurant really welcoming, and overall making it such an memorable experience. Would recommend for not just the great food but great people serving it.
