Swift Transportation - Syracuse Terminal reviews
6There are always plenty of places to park and the office people are always very nice. The only terminal I know of that have people 24 hours a day. I wish all of our terminals had offices people like that. I was even able to get my new 24 ITFA sticker for my truck when I picked my truck key up after getting my A & B service done. Yall rock! Thx bunches Syracuse term. Really made me feel home again.
An unregulated company, and you work with people who have no clue what they’re doing and they have me with mentor almost 4 weeks he made 3 accidents during this time he is very dirty and stinky and terrible smoker. Swift are terrible trucking company. The qualification team and their mentor are really need to be trained before they are become a mentor. I have very bad experience with swift… this company are A dangerous company for new drivers. I am in the process of studying for the purpose of suing them. I have evidence to prove that.
Nothing to claim! There is a good terminal with a clean restroom and shower.
A nice yard full of parking spaces is organized by someone doing there job
Waste of time
I’m a new CDL graduate and I have my class A CDL.
After I submitted my application and was accepted, I had to go through the whole process: I did the drug test, watched the required videos which took about 3 hours, went to orientation in Syracuse, which was 5 hours away from my home, etc. I spent 2 days in Syracuse, and paid all road and travel expenses out of pocket, and took those 2 days off from my current job.
Then, just 2 hours before my orientation was supposed to end, I was told they couldn’t accept me because I only had 25 hours of training with the driving school I graduated from, and they required 160 hours (which doesn’t make sense to me I’m already licensed).
But really? !
Regardless, they had that information for over 2 weeks. I cannot wrap my head around why they made me go through all of that, the travel and taking time out of my schedule, just to ask me to leave 2 hours before the end of orientation. Completely unprofessional and an absolute waste of time.
