With a (necessary) reservation, we went on a Friday evening. The place is dimly lit. We walked in at the bar and were seated immediately into a comfortable u-shaped booth with a good view of the 4 piece Mexican band.

One of my favorite places to go for quesadillas in the city. So flavorful and the perfect portion. The street corn is also a must.

Outstanding tacos, the gringa is exceptional! Can also recommend the watermelon water, feels fresh and nicely balances out the tacos. Also try the Carnitas tacos! Service is friendly and efficient.

Great restaurant! The food is absolutely amazing i was very satisfied! Staff and waiters are super cool people and give great service and it was my first time there. Will definitely be back!:)

This was my second time at this restaurant and it was 100 percent delivered! I'm fussy about Mexican food, it needs to be shipped and it was awesome.

Tacombi was an easy place for me to decide to eat. I saw their advertisements at the ESB and I was instantly hooked. The guacamole is so rich, along with all the food they give you in a surplus amount. Absolutely phenomenal restaurant I would recommend to anybody who enjoys Mexican restaurants.

Best tacos! I am pretty picky about my tacos and these are just amazing. The al pastor ones are my favorite. The esquites are delicious too and their micheladas are also great. The manager here is really nice. Go eat here, you won’t regret it.

I love tacombi and have frequented several of their locations over the years. It has always been a good experience and food has always been delicious. However today I went to the location on 24th st and can say I will never be coming back to this location. The food was subpar tasting, the portions were half the normal size, and the service was the worst I've ever experienced. The manager and our waiter were too concerned with hugging and flirting with the hostess to pay attention to our table. I even saw another guest have to get up from her table and walk to the front of the restaurant to peel the waiter away from the little group. My recommendation is try the empire state building or any of their other locations.but STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!

Came here with my friends for a double date and it was really bad. The table was sticky, the food was mediocre, the water had no ice and the waiter slammed the water to the table with extra rudeness. My friend told him of her allergies and he was quick to doubt it. After that he became really uncomfortable to work with. I'm pretty sure he asked to change tables with someone else and upon paying the bill he asked us if we did our math because we were off a couple bucks. My credit card was stuck to the table so somehow the card was overlooked because it was stuck to the table. IDK but it seemed pretty rude for our taste. And it blew our minds that this place had tons of business but the place across the street was empty with extra generosity. So we left early and went across the street and I recommend you do too because Norikoh is so underrated. The food was fire. AAAAAAAAND the water was cold, and they give you ice unlike Tacombi.

Extremely rude staff! Also watching how disrespectful and condescending the staff deals with delivery people at the entrance is absolutely appalling! Two visits and one was worse than the other!

Always great, superb food, good portions, and the staff is wonderful! Every location that we have visited has been excellent!

Yesterday was the first time we went to this excellent restaurant. But It is surely not the last time. We passed a splendid evening with the generous service, with the superb food and booze and with the decent price. We will surely return there in a short time.

So we were walk ins. We were asked if we could clear the table in an hour. “No problem! ” Say we. After watching a party of six seated after us, and watching their drink orders taken and served while never seeing our waiter, we left.

Pre-pandemic I liked the restaurant.

Amazing tacos and overall fantastic menu. Great drinks and wide array of cocktails. Love the atmosphere, great for any occasion. Highly recommend. Best tacos in the neighborhood.
