Tacombi, New York NY

The food is bad and overpriced. I’m surprised that folks are raving about this location. The upper east side location has far better quality food, drinks and ambience. Seriously, avoid this spot if you’re trying to get good food.

Every server was friendly. The cuisine was excellent. The best New York tacos I've ever had. They have a great deal of authenticity.similar to those in Mexico City. Taste the Gobernador tacos there. To get your order taken, you must ask the servers to come over. The positive thing is that you enjoy being there since they all seem content and get along. You will adore it. Don't pass up this NYC Mexican flavor.

Tacombi is just not good Mexican food, plain and simple. The vibe is nice, but the food is simply 'alright' if you've ever lived in a place where good Mexican food was abundant. I'm sure many people from the Northeast enjoy it, but it's just not for me.

I have gone here numerous times and the meat is always just dry and doesn't seem very fresh or flavorful. The highlight for me is the al pastor, but even then, it has some issues. Even though I live very close to this location, I prefer to take the train to better restaurants in the city at which I still get better value for my money even after the roundtrip train fare.

I just ordered close to $100.00 worth of tacos from UberEats. The tacos came in CLUMPS! They were SOGGY! Only onions and chicken! Nothing else! DO NOT order from here!

We love Tacombi but PLEASE bring back the carnitas. Their taco variety is fun and their drinks are the best. I love the watermelon juice. The tacos are slightly pricier than lower east side or hole-in-the-wall places and the tacos are similar. SO you are paying for the vibe and the atmosphere, which is 10/10 - spacious, clean - great place to meet up with friends and have conversation.

Benjamin was amazing and fast, his service was on poont and helpful. Food was AMAZING. Me and my girl had a great time. Ty for the memories

I had a great meal here with a whole bunch of my friends. Not only I enjoyed my food but everyone else also did too.

The wait staff were judgemental, lazy, disinterested and it was a horrible experience.all because of my desire to sit and eat one (1) taco.

It was a nice restaurant. Looks very authentic and lovely. Food was great but service needs some work. I was standing in there for almost 10 minutes before someone asked me if I would like to place an order. I wasn’t greeted at all. I waited much longer than the quoted time to get my food.

Way over priced & not even decent tasting.
Fish Taco is good. Steak Taco was bland at best.
Quesadillas were al pastor & not a single piece of pineapple was thrown in there.

Why on earth are the only salsa options bottled jars of expired salsa? The salsa on my table expired 2 weeks ago. Not ok to call yourself a taqueria without the obligatory salsas and verduras encurtidas. Not fabulous food. Best thing I ordered was the esquites
. Horchata tasted like pulke - was too fermented. Left a lot to be desired

The vibes are immaculate, the food is pretty great, but our waiter Benjamin was the highlight of the experience. He was hilarious and super kind. He even took a picture of us outside the restaurant!

The food was Fantastic. I had the Carnitas which where amazing some of the best tacos I’ve had in a while.

The service was great! We had to move tables and the helped us move all our stuff.

The atmosphere was alright.

Delicious food and cocktails, very authentic Mexican. On the more expensive side but I was happy to pay.
