Taj Grill, Buffalo NY

We found this place by accident while driving on Delaware to get to Hertel during lunchtime. The premises were bright and open, and it was buffet lunch time. The buffet selection was very good - the right mix of all the usual vegan and meat dishes, with a few extra different dishes added into the offerings. We found the flavors to be more dynamic that the usual Indian fare - ie, the butter chicken wasn't in the usual golden creamy insipid sauce but in a richer reddish tan cream sauce with more spices and a touch of heat - nice changes of pace. The salad, fresh fruit and kheer offerings were all plentiful as well. The naan was served piping hot, fresh and the service was very attentive. We're definitely going back and highly recommend it.

Amazing place always drove by but the ex never wanted to try new things or adventure but me I love all foods and will try anything. I was craving curry tonight and this definitely hit the spot. It's a nice quaint little restaurant highly recommend

This place has great northern Indian cuisine. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Samosas 4 life!

My friend and I met here for the first time since Covid shut everything down. The tables are separated and the food is WONDERFUL. My friend had the butter chicken and I had the chicken tikka masala. So saucy and flavorful and wonderful. I will be coming back SOON. They had a ton of takeout orders lined up so I think they must be doing a good job in that arena as well!:)

Food is delicious. Our server was amazing and made sure we had what we needed when we explained what we wanted and were tasting. Not bad prices compared to other Indian restaurants around and a 3 page menu broken down to various proteins in flavorful sauces. I highly suggest trying this restaurant if you haven't

This is one of my favorite places! I miss the buffets but take out during covid has been just as amazing! I tend to get garlic naan which is always delish and I love their chicken makhani

Well we had high expectations from this place since the name it self says grill so we thought it would be like India's spices which would be little bit of spicy and biryani would be great as well but i don't knw man we found green peas which was in jeera rice so i think rather then making biryani they jst mixed rice with chicken gravy so i won't say i like it but i was hungry so i ate that

We ordered about 3 chicken specialty dishes and 3 different versions of biryani along with a few other orders. All the different Chicken specialty dishes tasted more or less the same but they had some degree of change every time, so I won't complain.
Although the biryanis were disappointing. I've had a lot of biryani back in India and also in many authentic restaurants in US. It was not the worst thing, but this was more pulao variant than biryani.
Loved the service though.

The wait staff were really nice and friendly. We loved the veg manchurian and the chicken makhani. The sizzlers were really good too. The lachcha parathas were below expectation though. The menu is quite affordably priced.

Wow! You will NOT be disappointed by the service or the food. Very very good environment. Amazing recipes and ingredients. Fresh fruits and vegetables.
Go for the LUNCH BUFFET. It opens pretty early and is not a bad price.

So good! We ordered the Saag Paneer, Butter Chicken, Keema matar, and samosa and it was delicious all around. Wait staff diligently keeping our glasses filled and giving us raw onion and hot peppers to add to top our dishes. I cant wait to try the buffet one of these days to sample more dishes! I have driven past this strip center with little ceasars in it a million times but am so glad I stopped!

Family and I found this place on our way back from Niagara Falls and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and the ambience was great. The prices are very reasonable and the buffet offers many options. Absolutely will make it a point to stop by if ever in Buffalo again!

I ordered butter chicken and it was way too SWEET. I’ve had good amount of butter chickens in my life where I know what it should taste like. If you end up getting butter chicken here make sure to tell them to make it spicy I guess.

In Buffet.nothing fresh obviously! Service not great. And butter chicken is definitely not butter chicken I must say.may be it would be better called sweet chicken.disappointed

Recently was moved to a new store for work in the plaza and my coworkers suggested Taj for lunch. Having never tried Indian cuisine I was hesitant but the food here is great and the staff is always nice. Definitely gonna be my new favorite lunch spot.
