Ramen Restaurant Tamashii reviews
34This place is intended for a quick bite. There's one row of seating, and everyone is right next to each other. The service was fast, we got our food within just a few minutes of ordering it. It was relatively bland, though. Not bad, just not good. It was convenient but there are better ramen places.
Fast. Friendly. Ramen was really authentic and the agedashi tofu is really good and crisplu fried
Good food, not only ramen, but a large menue of other common Japanese dishes. Good ambience and friendly service, great for a quick meal or serious sitdown.
So good! Authentic ramen nook. Spicy miso is amazing, this is definitely my fav ramen spot in LIC. You can slurp as loud as you want.
Wonderful place for lunch or dinner. Fast service. Very friendly and welcoming. Always welcome you when you enter and thank you as you leave. Prices are very affordable. Food choices are great. It's always clean. If you need a quick lunch or can't decide where to go, this is a good spot.
Best lunch place in the LIC area! Staff super nice and food clean and healthy and good. Definitely worth the visit!
I had the Champon, which is a seafood-noodle ramen bowl. It was fantastic. Just the right heat and flavor for my palette. The seafood was quite fresh. Great meal!
My boyfriend and I came here for dinner and everything was very good. The extensive menu offers a lot of traditional Japanese food. I ordered Miso Ramen. Very tasty although a little salty. The pork buns and raw octopus are also very good. I will definitely come back.
Holy good God this is honestly the best ramen I have ever had. And I actually really loved the prices for what you get which is a giant bowl of fantasticness
Clean, friendly, and average speed. Had Champon Ramen tasted ok.not bad, not great. Probably one of the better place in LIC but pretty average in Manhattan.
I come here all the time to get ramen and it's really good. But today I decided to get the katsu curry for a change. WORST DECISIONS EVER. There was barely any curry. I honestly wouldn't even call this a curry dish. There basically only katsu with a light covering of curry. What a disappointment. The lesson is get the ramen here but DO NOT get anything else, you will be let down like Trump is letting this country down.
I love ramen, but the ramen at this place is kind of lack of flavor. Also, shrimp tempura is more on the fry shrimp side, with too much flour. The good side is the price vs.portion.
I had the Tamashii Ramen during lunch special time on a weekday and it was delicious! I liked that the noodles were thinner compared to other ramen places I have been to. The soup was really good. Not too salty, I sipped almost all of the soup and the takoyaki was really hot at first so make sure to cool it down before stuffing your mouth!
A good neighborhood place with mostly Japanese and some Korean food. Staff is very nice and friendly. Small space.
