3 Mid experience, the direct bus route home with no after school activities is fine. But after school buses normally gets extremely crowded with up to 80 students trying to scramble for one bus. Extremely crowded. I would recommend if you live far out in the transit deserts in queens, but other than that, if you live next to the subway, you're probably better off doing that. In addition, some of the drivers drive extremely fast, it'd almost unsafe, we have gotten into 2 minor incidents this year.
Edit 1: Don't worry, I'm not saying a bus carries an unsafe amount of people, it is that there is lots of people going and essentially shoving others to enter a single crowded bus. The service itself is alright, but the speeding part and crowding part (AP week 3: 55 buses was definitely not great) certainly lowers it to the 3-4 stars area.
The place to visit was good. I wanted to add one or two places to visit.
