Tao Foot Spa, Fishkill NY

My massage was great. I had a back and foot massage. No deep tissue but I was still just a little sore but she worked some of my knots out of my back. I have to say the guy next to massage must have been better because he started snoring 15 minutes into his. I was very relaxed and comfortable. She did not speak English but understood a little. Great place to always go.

The massage was ok to say the least. They supposedly take credit cards, and I can hear other customers pay using their card as they leave while I get my massage. When the massage is over, I go out front to pay, and now their signal isn't working to use the card machine. I wait 20 minutes before the owner shows up, and after he does, he insists i pay in cash, which I didn't think I needed because they take credit cards. After a 30 minute round trip to my bank to get the cash to go back and pay and pick up my wife that I left behind as collateral, I hand him 60 dollars because at this point they wasted an hour of my time.the owner agrees, then has the worker chase me down to tell me that he is going to make her pay the difference. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. Instead, he gave my wife a 10 dollar certificate. That doesn't make up for all the inconvenience and deceit. You lost a potential continuous customer. I am not happy with your service at all whatsoever.

I WOULD NEVER recommend this "massage" spa to anyone. I went in with a gift certificate and right away they tried to upsell. I tried to explain i just wanted what was covered by my certificate. I went into the room, no communication since there was no English spoken there. She had to call someone to translate in English and asked again (3x) about paying more for different services. The massage lady
had me faced down on the table and from the first rub on my shoulder, I wanted to cry from the pain I felt. At that moment, I thought I was just stiff.i was very wrong. My 60 minute full body massage consisted of hurting my back, rubbing my neck, massaging from my elbow to my fingers, and my feet for a couple of minutes. She then rubbed the oil off with very rough towels. The feet were done with me faced up and she put a towel over my face. I was more relaxed before going there then I was afterwards. When over, I wanted to just get dressed and leave quickly. They wouldn't let me leave until they called the person who could translate to make me give a tip. Honestly, i had a tip in my pocket, but really wanted to get out because of the pain and at that point, didn't want to give anything. It's now 12 hours later and I feel like I've been bruised badly in my upper back and i have a very high pain tolerance.

Very rough. No English so they didn’t ask about special areas that need attention. I hurt more now than when I went in. Never going back.

I called to schedule a massage, was super excited to get an appointment that day. Overall great experience! I walked out feeling super relaxed and refreshed.

I’ve had lower back pain for years. Recently because of work a stiff neck! My friend recommended me to come here. Strong hands right spots. Clean and professional.very good price! Had the 60 minute body massage treatment. It was nice and relaxing, just the right amount of time.rid off nuts. Release pain back. I highly recommend Tao spa The ambience and professionalism of their staff is awesome. You will leave refreshed and very comfortable. A great spa! Will definitely come back for more!

Not sure what all the complaining from my fellow reviewers is about. For the price point, this place is great. You’re not paying for the aesthetics, you’re paying to have a place where you can pop in and get a quick massage on the cheap.
The average price I’ve seen for a massage at a nice spa in the area is $100-$150 an hour. I love those places too, but sometimes you want to keep it simple and cost effective. I will be back.

I went for an hour and a half body and feet massage for $70! It was awesome! The lady found all the little tight spots in my lower back and neck.

I would never go back again. I went in with a gift card and the lady looked so annoyed and called over 2 people they started speaking and pointing at it which I did not understand. They bring me to the room which I asked to be moved to another due the blanket on the bed being dirty and the door being ripped. She provided me a TOWEL for coverage. I asked for a blanket which none were available. Legit a small bath towel not even a long large thick towel. Then I just tried to keep an open mind during the massage another lady came in and started talking to me asking me a question I cared nothing about so I said that’s what’s you came in here for? Idk with an annoyed response. Then the lady doing my massage and her co workers start having conversation from the other rooms. The rest of the staff was talking so loud by the entrance to someone on speaker phone. If you ask me After my experience I do not think any of them are even license massage therapist! Never never go! I don’t care if you have a gift certificate or an amazing deal DO NOT GO

Good service, massage was great they took their time, the prices for massages are very good the atmosphere is good overall good experience

The massage was good. The staff are very hard to understand and u have to repeat urself many times. However, while getting a massage they talk very loud and you are there to relax! It’s very rude. I also didn’t like how they folded the towel in my underwear while getting my back and legs done, I felt uncomfortable by that. The place smells when you first walk in, gross.

Amazing place. They really do care that you get the best massage possible. Incredible value too, got a 90 minute massage for under $100 and I feel 15 years younger. I can honestly say from experience that a $70 massage here is twice as good and 3x as long than mohonk mountain house

Very simple just a massage. The people are very nice and accommodating. Even though it says Aromatherapy there is no aromatherapy just a massage. But the price is very good $50 for 1 hour.

Not sure if ownership has changed because this place used to be my quick go-to for a massage. Something definitely happened because at my last visit whomever performed the body message was definitely inexperienced and literally rolled her arm on my back for sixty minutes. I truly believe she purposely continued this bizarre method because she was laughing and carrying on a conversation with
her co-worker in the adjacent room.
I maintained my calm
composure until my horrible bizarre experience finished and
asked to speak to manager. She said she was the manager. I will never go back. Horrible service.

I’ve been going here for about 3 months now and very happy with the massages. I have back problems/cramps/ and tightness and they always help me get better. Great treatment here with the music, heated beds, and of course the massages!

My first and last time at this place. There was absolutely nothing relaxing about the massage I got. I’ve gotten massages before and the one I got here was awful. I will never recommend this place.
