The food at this restaurant was absolutely amazing. Everything was so flavorful and unique. While the food was amazing, the service was even better. Nevin is the best server I’ve ever had. He made great recommendations and was very personable. He was timely and attentive and made the experience fantastic.

Great customer service and the food it to die for. I absolutely love the atmosphere. The owner came over and greeted the table. Lovely lady, she was attentive to our feedback.

We had some wonderful food here. Have not had Moroccan food in quite awhile. It was very good and a lot to choose from which can be a bit daunting. We had a Pulsd coupon which we had no problem with. FYI: On the coupon though it says you must call to make a reservation but when I called I was told they did not take reservations. No problem. We both enjoyed our selections for entrees. Spicy was spicy. The Moroccan wine was very good as was the mango cheesecake we shared for dessert. The servings are large so we took some home and it was almost better the next day reheated which is a sign of some great cooking. My only complaint was a waiter was not the friendliest. Maybe it's a flaw on my part but I dislike talking to someone who seems to be looking away like there's something better to do. The other waiter was much more attentive.

Food at Tara Kitchen is fantastic. My daughter loves the mini lamb meatballs and the salad. I love all the lamb dishes, the tagines and the mint tea is great too. Have been back several times and enjoyed every visit.

The food was very seasoned and good. The Custer service was above and beyond. The atmosphere was great and the decorations as

Tara’s kitchen had a great menu with vegan, vegetarian, fish and meat options to go around. The appetizers were shared with a group of ten folks and they were all delicious. Highly recommend the meatballs, unfortunately they were out of the cigars. Harissa paste was nice and spicy and the eggplant was cooked perfectly. I got the Rafissa entree which was a decent size (I could only eat a small portion of it) so I had great leftovers the next day. The lamb shank was popular with a beautiful presentation. The saffron rice was community style with enough to go around. Everyone seemed happy with their meals and the complimentary tea was delicious! We tried all the desserts and would recommend the cheesecake and chocolate bomb.

As the vegan of the group, I loved the options I had at Tara’s Kitchen! There were several small plates and meals I could choose from, so I ordered a bunch! As a group we split the potato patties, the tapenade, and spicy fava bean salad. Everything was so tasty and flavorful! I was almost full after the appetizers! I ordered the Moroccan Ratatouille and it was very good! Someone at our table also ordered it and said it was too spicy for their taste, but I found it to be the perfect heat level (but I love spice). Would definitely visit again and try the other vegan options at this place!

As a Moroccan this shouldn’t be called Moroccan restaurant.that’s not how we eat in Morocco.we don’t serve side of rice or couscous or mashed potatoes with our dishes! The meals could be inspired by Moroccan cuisine but the restaurant should definitely not be called Moroccan restaurant. This is cultural appropriation!

The service and the food were outstanding. Hats off to the chef and hats off to my amazing waitress Juli. Definitely recommend this place

I attended a birthday dinner at Tara on Church Street this evening. What a lovely time our party of seven had! The space is beautifully designed, we felt so welcome, and the staff’s service was truly on point. We shared Moroccan appetizers, a chilled bottle of rosé wine, well sauced chicken entrees and lamb tagine, so nicely prepared. Would happily go again!

Place was lovely! We flew into NYC for our anniversary and found them on Yelp and so happy we chose to go in! Service was awesome and the food was AMAZING - we’ve never had Moroccan cuisine… highly recommend!

Food seemed Moroccan fusion. Been to Morocco and been to Moroccan restaurants so this was very disappointing. Lamb coucous and Lamb meatball just ok. Fava app was good but not much fava. Most dishes did not warrant the higher pricing. The server who said he was from Morocco was very friendly, genuine, and attentive. The other server was rude. Space and bar is beautifully done. Sadly, will not be back.

Beautiful space, really good music, and very attentive servers. Clearly labeled vegan options is always a plus. The food was amazing as were the mocktails. We will be back for sure!
