Target Distribution Center, Amsterdam NY

The worst Target of all. My appointment was for 6: 00 p.m. And it's already 2: 00 a.m. The next day and they still haven't finished with my trailer. Absolutely ridiculous this place. They make you leave the facility to unload you and you have to find a place to wait for more than 8 hours and counting, totally disrespectful. Never come to this place, it does not deserve the hard work and sacrifice of us trucks driver.

Say they need employees but don’t hire said 5+ years ago i abandoned my job WHEN I DIDNT, and to this day still won’t hire me back. The management in this place was awful, the way this place is run is AWFUL. And they 100% play favorites and discriminate against people. If i could rate a zero i would.

Very bad place to go. Arrived at 7: 30 am drop trailer and had to wait more than 8 hours to get my trailer back. Will never come here again more than 8 hours to get unloaded.

I will never come again, I have been kept here for 11 hours and I don’t know when I will leave, there is no respect for the driver, I arrived two hours early, 14 hours 31 min, if you want to take a 34-hour break, go to the target for delivery!

Wake up America, I'm drives 18 Wheeler No Reasons for waiting Unload For me 12h, It you guy want me go inside help unload just last me know i'm happly to Do so, I'm have to go back home see my familys at home! I have to work and make moneys feed my familys. GOD bless America!

Defenely no worthy to come to this place to deliver way too much rules waiting time is horrible 5 to 6 hours worst place i ever been too never again

Like others TDC: Large open yard.easy to get in and out, downside: They make you drop your trailer and get out of the premise. Appointment at 4, got there at 3pm.drop the trailer, they call me back at 9pm. Be ready to spend at least 5 hours

This has to be one of the worst Target DC I’ve been to. If you like sitting around all day for nothing but a run around then this is the place to come to.

Looks like this place is under new management, now for deliveries they require a T3802 number. If you don’t have it you will not be checked in. There’s a number you can call and get it by giving them your PO number or such number. Once past the gate, you’ll drop trailer in the spot they gave you and take your bills to door 240. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR LOAD LOCKS WHEN YOU’RE DONE BECAUSE THEY LOVE FORGETTING TO PUT THEM BACK IN YOUR TRAILER!

First off have your T# ready. If you take longer than three minutes looking you have to get back in line at gatehouse. Arrived 4pm for live unload appt at 430 pm. Assigned a spot to drop trailer and Checked in at office. Told i could not wait anywhere on the property while unloading. Was told to check out at security gatehouse or they would not unload the trailer. Drove down the road to Stewarts Store. Still here after 7 hours! No call

Do not go to this place unless you like to wait 8-20 hrs to get unloaded. Slow and would have given them a zero if I could.

Guys this is Target distribution and all the negative reviews you are reading is absolutely true. Avoid this place if you can, the place is strictly by appointment, they will tell you to drop the trailer at marked staging lanes and bobtail to to office near door 240 to drop papers and then you’ll be told to leave the premises and will call you once we’re done with Unloading which will be forever. I drop my trailer this morning at 0600 for 6: 30 am appointment, it’s 1: 15pm now and still waiting my trailer they messed up my whole day because my next load which was 3: 00pm has been canceled, the place has no overnight Parking but there’s TA truck stop 7 mi away which is not bad.

If I can put 0 again will be OK. Rate for this facility is - 0. Drivers if you like to lose your day and lose your next load be free and go to this facility, Check in at 10.30 am for 12.30 pm appt. It's now 17.30 pm and my trl is still not empty. I wish luck for everyone who will go there in a future. For me, last time

Can only get in 1 hour before and 1 hour after appointment. Was told to drop trailer and leave the property after checking in. Stayed in spot where I parked to check in for 8 hours and they didn't tell me to leave so I don't think they enforce it. There is a TA about 10 minutes away

I'm a truck driver and this place has a truck driver lounge. It's located by door 240. The room itself is marked as 25. See pictures that I uploaded.
