The owner of this restaurant was the most warm welcoming person ever, the food inside was one of the tastiest food and best Chinese food i ever ate.i definitely recommend visiting this restaurant.it lowkey deserves more then an 5 star, and if u need help with school come on sunday’s because the owner’s son is very smart and could help you out with your homework for free!

Horrible food came cold ribs were hard no NO SAUCE most burnt and for 37$ n three orders i expect more than 2 duck sauces and no napkins.use to be my fab old client lives nearby will NEVER AGAIN ORDER FROM THEM. 1hr 34 mins for delivery.and was tipped! Split the order with family gave the while thing away

Very pleased with this restaurant! Ordered last minute @ 10: 15 when they were closing by 10: 30. Ringed for a little so I assumed they closed for the night. They ended up calling me back right away to take my order! Food was hot and fresh. Taste was excellent. Will go back!

This place changed owners in the last few years and has not been the same since. Quality of food is just ok. Often make mistakes and missing items. Seems they go for speed over quality. Keep it as last resort place only because of a very close proximity.

Decided to give their delivery a second chance, my mistake since the first time also took an hour and 15 min. This time, a $21,2-person order took an hour and half to deliver 2 miles on a weekday afternoon. Not only that, but the food was also room temp by then, AND the rude delivery driver had the audacity to literally say to us we cheaped out on tip, gave us a dirty look and walked away. We used to go to this place regularly to pick up food, about once every 2-3 weeks even though they aren't the closest Chinese take out to us, counter lady is usually very friendly, helpful and quick. She remembers the regulars and asks how things are going. We see the kids after school in the front eating and doing homework, at a nice family-owned restaurant.

But since the driver with glasses was rude like that, no thanks, I'll take my business somewhere else. I 100% support local and minority owned businesses when I can. If it’s too far to deliver or will take too long, I’m okay with that just be honest. Almost an hour and half and 2 calls for update is not worth it since we could’ve cancelled but we didn’t and still got an attitude in response.

Very friendly guys, but I haven’t tasted such terrible food in a long time, I would happily return it to the cook! Happy family edible, house special mein fun and chicken chow mein - in the trash

Best Chinese food in Staten Island! I ordered the Beef Lo Mein and BBQ Spare Ribs for lunch today, and the food was delicious! Staff was very friendly, and I didn't have to wait forever for the food like the other restaurants I've been to. I highly recommend this restaurant!

My best friend recommended this restaurant to me yesterday, and I decided to try it. I ordered sesame chicken with wonton soup, and the staff was super friendly! The owner's son took my order and he was very kind and handsome! The food was fresh and the sesame chicken was crispy! I highly recommend this restaurant, it's a must try!

I didn't actually eat here, I went with a friend who's vegan and and loves it and says she gets so much for the price plus it's delicious/quality Chinese food and even though I didn't try it myself just looking at it I could tell it was and I could tell she thought so too when we got to her place which was conveniently only like a 2-3min drive away! Definitely getting some myself next time. She kept trying to get me to have at least rice bc she kept saying how good it was but I had eaten not too long before that and genuinely wasn't hungry so next time I'll be prepared with an empty stomach ready to down some good lookin ish on a dish. Still giving it 5's for now tho just bc of how good it looked and smelled lol. We have plans for me to try it in about a week or two and I have a strong feeling that my 5 rating won't change because even though she's a vegan and I'm not and we eat different things she's still showed me so many things I would have never tried on my own and winded up liking them.which is cool and shocking to me LOL. So I'm sure my rating will stay the same, if it stays five then it's a banger & I didn't change it on purpose

I recently just moved in into Staten Island and I’ve got to say, I had no idea where to eat! I had a friend reccommend me to this great Chinese restaurant where I ordered a lunch special of chickens wings with pork fried rice. I recieved my orders in under 10 minutes and the lady at the counter was very friendly! The food seemed fresh and the soup that came with the lunch speial was delicious. Chicken wings were crispy and pork fried rice wasn’t precooked as well. I would definitely consider going to this restaurant more often. This is a must try!

I came to this place today, the general tso and the sweet and sour chicken is very good, I liked everything about this restaurant and the owners and workers are very friendly. Reminds me of how life was back in my old hometown and this store really brings back some memories. I'm gonna come here a lot to get a real taste of China!

I really enjoy eating at this Chinese restaurant, their food is really cook to perfection and tastes really good. The have deals to feed a family, I really enjoy all of the food choices on the menu. I ordered the general tso chicken lunch special. The portion is insane for something that cost $9.15 before taxes. Compared to other Chinese restaurants Taste of China takes the prize in biggest portion. Food was delicious! Also, I've notice that it's one of the few restaurants that has mostly chicken than breading in their general tso. The only problem was that I waited an hour for delivery.

Very good local takeout prices are extremely reasonable food is tasty and definitely worth a try

Owner yells on phone.very disturbing.last week gave stale food I tried to eat but couldn't I order everyday they yell at you but she said this one time she will replace.she is very unprofessional to the public.the food was better when replaced it but made me very upset that i requested to change it because she yells. I think the food was old even noodles were stale called the following day again yells hangs up and states will not serve because I make trouble.therevis no point in telling this woman to try and changev.wont.will remain unprofessional and just continue behavior of yelling screaming.not good.
