TD Bank reviews
6DO NOT GO HERE THIS BRANCH STOLE MY MONEY. I went here to deposit several checks for my business. I used the drive through atm machine to deposit my checks which totaled about $3000.00. After entering my checks and my card, I found the machine had malfunctioned leaving me with no card and no checks. The machine stole my checks along with my TD Bank card. I went inside the branch and explained what had happened. I waited for over half an hour to meet with an unfriendly, rude and incompetent teller. They told me I had to wait with no explanation. They sat me down at the desk and said they needed to put a claim in and could not open the atm to get my checks and my card out. They are still with holding all of these things. They said they needed to submit a claim, they gave me a new card and said it would take up to 10 business days to deposit the stolen checks. It’s been 15 days and I’ve been calling everyday. I was informed by one customer service agent that I would definitely have the money deposited into my account by 12am. It was not deposited, so they lied for no reason. They didn’t know what to say when I followed up and asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor informed me that I needed to speak to the manager at the TD branch that had my checks and were holding them hostage from me. I am certain the checks were written out to me, with my name on it, not to TD bank. So the branch assistant manager said a bunch of bs and never followed up with me. They still have my money. The bank literally stole it. I have been with TD bank for over 10 years only to be left disappointed and in financial distress.
Customer service really bad, i could not access my bank statement online, i went to this branch, the banker was so lazy to print me the statements instead he said they will mail me the statements in 3 weeks and told me to be patient xD so ridiculous, thank god i closed my accounts!
The bank closed my business account with no notice, they kept procrastinating issuing the checks for no reason!
I have been a member of TD bank for.over 10 years because I love how they are always open, have locations everywhere, and always greet me with a smile and warm welcome. I decided to stop at the Bayside location for a simple transaction, even though it's not my main branch. I was greeted by the teller who told me I needed to wait to see a customer service rep for the type of transaction I wanted to do. While sitting there, the manager comes over and says rudely to me "what are you here for" with a stern tone. No hello, how are you today or smile, just rudeness. When I sat with the customer service rep, I asked why the manager was so rude to me, and he informed me that she is always like that. I don't know how she got this position having an attitude like that, especially at this bank which is known for their great customer service. I highly suggest that she receives customer service training, because she is in the wrong business if she will be rude to customers who come to her branch. She was even rude to the customer before us who came in saying he was locked out of his account, and she seemed to be upset at him for getting locked out.
Over all the branches nice, the tellers and customer service reps are very friendly and helpful, but I will not be returning to this bank until they replace the manager
Stephanie who works in this branch is the rudest teller i’ve experienced. She shouldn’t be standing behind the customer service desk, if she didn’t want to ‘help’ customers.
