Tea and Milk reviews
16Delicious, freshly made teas and boba drinks. They've expanded and now have a location in Manhattan inside Chelsea Market! Loved their taro milk tea - thick, rich, and super creamy. They use real taro (sadly, a lot of places use a gross purple powder mix with artificial flavoring). I also loved their lavender milk tea, as well - just enough floral flavor!
Great sweet chewy boba. I usually get the strawberry hibiscus. Pictures are of the outside Patio.
Awesome bubble teas that are brewed naturally! A true gem of Astoria, even after multiple years, I still find myself coming back to this place. I would highly recommend this to anyone & everyone!
Hands down my fav milk tea spot! I recommend the brown sugar earl grey milk tea, which is my go-to and favorite drink. I also enjoy the taro root milk tea and appreciate them for using actual taro (instead of powder like most places). You can definitely taste it in the drink! Best of all, they have THEEE most amazing banh mi! As a Vietnamese myself, I must say their banh mi is authentic and delectable! Can’t wait to go back!
If you want bubble tea that's actually made with real tea and not powder, this is the place to go. Tons of options and you can customize it so you can have your tea exactly how you want it
Super sweet place and sweet staff just like their cookies! We walked around from a few blocks over and weren't sure what to order when we got there the nice lady at the window made a few fun suggestions so we went with that I forgot to mention I didn't like licorice Boba in my tea so she went out of her way to replace it with another and threw in a complimentary cookie for my 4 year old son! He was super happy and so was I. Will definitely tell my friends about this place and will be coming back for all the hospitality and delicious treats they had
I had their taro milk tea since it’s rare to see ppl using real taro. Overall it’s ok but a little bit watery. However, they gave a lot of tapioca and it tasted good and chewy! The cold brew coffee was good with their cream.
Who says you can't have the best of both worlds? Boba drinks that are both delicious and made using real ingredients (none of those powders that you see in almost all the other boba joints).
The owner and its employees are so down to earth and really cares about their customers.
My go-to order is the Strawberry Matcha Boba, while my SO always order the classic Oolong Tea with their Signature cream.
I've recently discovered that they have another location in Chelsea Market! It's so close to my work place. I'm definitely going to be visiting them a lot!
Food and bubble tea here is great, but the wait times are a bit ridiculous. Every time I come, I’m always annoyed at how long it takes. Way longer than it should.
Update: I had the jasmine green tea again and it was so good!
I absolutely love this place and came here with my friends constantly before corona. They reason I give it 4 stars is because they now make the tea much less strong to the point where it tastes like milky water to me. I think that they are just testing this out though because they had some complaints about how strong it was, but I think it was perfect the way it was before and I know all of my friends do too. I hope they change it back to how it was before!
I’ve been wanting to try their matcha for a while now and this is exactly what I wanted! It’s the perfect iced matcha latte. I also asked for a recommendation for a sweet and refreshing tea and was happy with what I was recommended!
According to my brother's research this place is the best bubble tea spot and we decided to go to see if that was true.
Ordered the strawberry matcha tea latte with boba and the coffee milk tea. Ever since Boba Guys closed down, there hasn't been a place where I can get a good strawberry matcha.until now! Both drinks were really good. It wasn't too sweet and the boba was not bland or hard.
The wait wasn't that long to get the drinks after ordering (actually I was not prepared on how fast it was made as I had a bunch of stuff in hand). The coffee milk tea was like a double caffeinated drink without it being overwhelmingly sweet. Who knew tea and coffee together actually tasted good.
They do have an extensive menu so there are many drinks to choose from. Unfortunately the last time I went, they did not appear to have outdoor seating.
I’ve had their regular signature taro milk tea before and that’s always good but this time I tried their vegan taro milk tea that uses coconut milk. It’s still so good! The service is always friendly!
They have amazing costumer service and they serve amazing drinks, my all time favorite being the lavender rooibos with oat milk and bubbles. I love this business!
Best Bubble Tea I've ever had, hands down. Their Brown Sugar Earl Grey, and Tarro Milk are stand out favorites, but be sure to ask for them less sweet unless you really like your sugar.
This place is so good! Very unique flavors: fruit, floral, different teas and lemonade. Such a lovely pit stop!
