Be prepared to wait. Youll be in line for at least 20 minutes to a half hour. This place is the worst

Love this branch. Always polite and helpful. There is also a branch service member who always says hello to me and how is everything. Goes out of her way. Shows great customer service.

Most locations are okay but look outdated (from the 90s) They just updated their automated phone service and it's still the worse.u put in your info to get your balance and it says invalid member #. Put your same exact info in a few more times and it may or may not take you to the next prompt.they need to step it up!

Now if you don’t use your checking account for like 4 months or more and you have an overdraft fee they would not let you reeopen the checking account you have to wait 6 months to have your checking account reeopen even if you pay your overdraft fee, I been with tfcu since they open the branch in central Islip and they couldn’t forgive me and reeopen the account I’m soo disappointed.
You used to be able to open an account with $1 dollar and they never charge overdraft fee for not using your account now they do. Tfcu Is getting worst.
And the manager a woman she’s not help at all, she don’t even come out from her office to talk to the customer she just send the answers with the employees

People, be careful with this branch in this exact place. They deposit your money, make a whole mess on your account and the money you deposit ends up lost somewhere wether some of them keep it or who knows where it goes. Also, worst customer service EVER!

Staff is incredibly rude and refused to help me when I asked details on my account. There was an issue with their ATM machine and it messed up my transfers and when I came back the next day they didn’t want to explain to me what went wrong with the transaction and refused to help at all and I ended up owing them money for unwarranted transactions. Worst customer service ever. I’m closing my accounts with this bank.

The person that helped me wasn't friendly and very rude. Some people need to like their jobs specially if working with customer. I guess you have to be rude to get a job at this place.

I’ve been a member here for a few years and I’ve never had a problem. Anytime something was wrong, the employees were nice enough to help fix it and did it right. There was a teller a while ago with earring gages and he was super friendly, congratulated me on my first car, etc.love TFCU.

Great experience knowledgeable professional personel.im not the type of person who comes into the bank i rather call because of the past experiences but this was agood experience i spoke to a young lady about some problems with my account for retirement and she was pretty helpful at everything even game some advice i believe her name was michelle.thank you for your service next time i wont talk to no one but you

They have ATM charges, $8 transfer fees, 6x transfer rule a month. Too many restrictions. Phone Reps cant tell you you're balance for "security" i already gave you all my personal information, like seriously. The customer service is horrible, no personality. They have a lot to learn. Better check out other credit unions to join, plenty on Long Island. IMPORTANT, TALK ABOUT SECURITY, THEIR RECEIPTS HAVE YOUR FULL ACCOUNT NUMBER ON THEM! Who's the genius behind that?

Just had someone steal $600.00 from my account from their ATM today. When has a bank ever allowed someone to take that much money in one go? Their website even says there's a limit of $500.00.

I have been a TFCU member now for over 20 years and I couldn't be happier with my bank. I have always had great experiences when I drive up or go in. I have several acounts of cause of the great rates. I also opened joint accounts for my kids and now they are grown and have there own accounts with TFCU too. I am not giving them 5 star because the new tele-automated phone system is not as user friendly as it was previously.

Theyre atm is so outdated, like if it were the 50's. Theyre app sucks, you cant even do much, ive been a member for 3 months and im already regretting my choice. So close to switching to Bank Of America

I love TFCU. They do so many things that just make life easy. Whether it's opening a new account or applying for a loan they make it go quickly and smoothly. I'm a college student so low prices stick out to me. Their credit cards have the lowest interest rates. All the staff are super nice and friendly. I think TFCU is better than any other bank out there.
