Tempura Cafe / Lutali (Kosher), Brooklyn NY

Very boutique style, sophisticated restaurant, with calm ambiance. The food was both appetizing, tasty, and served with great service.

I just finished dining at Lutali and I must say the food was delicious! They have many dairy and non-dairy options to please any crowd. I would highly recommend!

They don’t follow the instructions, we got different items than what we ordered and the food is terrible besides that is a long wait. Don’t waist your time!

This is a great Dairy cafe.

Unlike the name (which doesn't reflect how varied and/or how comprehensive the menu is), the restaurant has pasta, salads, a variety of sushi, good appetizers, and an array of desserts. They have some milkshakes and a nice drink menu.
The woman that served us was kind and helpful.
The fish tacos, the Krispy, the beet salad with feta and arugula, were some of my favorites. The tiramisu was light and tasty.

Food was delicious and service was great. My favorite dishes were the Jalapeño bullets, Godzilla roll, the penne vodka and the fish tacos.

We had the best time at Tempura tonight!

I love the Tempura branch in the city, so as soon as I heard that they opened a branch in Brooklyn (my hometown) I knew I had to go.
My first impression was that it was difficult to find because there was no sign. The owner later clarified to me that they were getting a sign soon.
I went with a friend for lunch, the restaurant was quite empty, probably due to the weird hour and lack of signage.
The service was personal, fast and gracious.
We quickly got our water and menus and sent in our order.
We ordered risotto, tuna tataki, tuna tartar and three salmon rolls.
We had some specific requests which accommodated.
The risotto came out first. A very generous portion. It was absolutely delicious. Cooked to perfection, with the right balance of cheese and earthiness from the mushrooms.
The tuna tartar, also was delicious but a bit more classy. There was a great amount of acidity cutting though each bite, giving you the flavor your expect in a tartar. The tataki as well was delicious with pepper crusted tuna, served on a bed of julienne cucumbers.
All three dishes were devoured.
The three rolls were great as well, but nothing more than you would expect from an average kosher sushi establishment, so considering the price of a roll, I probably would not order that again.
The owner came to speak with us at the end of the meal, the conversation was great and they were very friendly.
Our bill totaled to $130, a fair price considering our meal, which included a cup of white wine (for lunch).
Very excited about their opening so locally. Definitely going to become a new regular!

What a delicious find in Midwood, Brooklyn. Tempura opens their second location from their original spot in midtown Manhattan west. A delicious kosher twist on Asian fusion, the food, the decor, the FOOD was just what I was craving on my lunch date with hubby. The menu included fish, sushi, Asian inspired appetizers and a small pasta menu. The pictures speak for themselves but the taste of each dish is something you have to experience for yourself. Highly recommend this restaurant for all lunches, dinners and dates… The owners wife is also such a doll and was very accommodating.

Great place with lovely decor, awesome staff and warm atmosphere.
Plenty of street parking, nice wine selection.
Sushi, Salads, Fish, Pasta and don’t forget the desert.
