Tenmile Distillery reviews
13 Gorgeous tasting room offering good cocktails of their upscale spirits. If you're around in good weather, take a stroll through the historic fruit trees and admire the shiny stills!
My group were lucky enough to catch "New Curds on the Block" and "To The Gills" a foodie couple where Kate she served up artisanal cheese plates while Zach served up oysters as the guest food vendors that weekend.
Nestled in the Harlem Valley, this distillery launched around 2020 when the world sorely need a drink. Vodka, distinctive gin and single-malt whiskey is distilled here. The tour of the industrial stills is impressive, and the décor sleek. Orchard out back and juniper bushes for flavoring.
Amazing tour, great staff and most importantly, great whiskey, gin & vodka. Words are not enough to describe it. Just go and try it.
We were able to pre order a bottle that will be part of the April 2023 release and we can’t wait! Highly recommend!
An oasis in the valley. Aesthetically pleasing to the eye and the palate. Selection of Gin, Vodka, and Whisky in the middle of Duchess County. Beautiful grounds. Have a flight in the tap room and ask for a tour!
Fabulous! I am a chronic complainer. And this place is fantastic! Food and service is 5 Stars.
First time here and I am willing to come back again, this place is nice to enjoy with friends a couple of their cocktails.
So, being Jerseyans, we were taking a random route to MA to purchase.ahem, The Voldemort of pain relief, (yeah, it's legal NJ now, but still has a LONG way to go), and we randomly stumbled upon this place on our way to Kent Falls Brewing in CT. We literally did a U-Turn in the train station adjacent to the distillery because the words we uttered were: "When are we going to be this way again? ". That said, SO GLAD we did. Not only are their libations amazing, we got a personal tour of the place. So cool. I am not a huge fan of gin (thanks stupid 12th grade self who thought it was cool to drink a whole bottle of Tanqueray gin), but their gin, utterly amazing. Can't say enough good things about this place. Not just the people, but the location and vibe are amazing. We will be making our way back here for sure.
Just a remarkable place all around. The setting, the building, the pot stills, the people, and I haven't even gotten to the whiskey-in-progress that is still half a year away from being released. They were gracious enough to let me taste it, and just from that dram alone I'm really looking forward to its release. They have a nice program where you can reserve your own personal bottle number for the inaugural release and all the ones that follow - and you can bet I jumped on that opportunity. Just like jumping on Promontory after tasting it from the barrel.
Their gin is really refreshing as well, not overly juniper-y, nor overly citrusy. Had a nice bite of spearmint from their garden. Cocktails were lovely as well - the watermelon one is a nice elevated take using watermelon infused vodka instead of just mixing vodka and watermelon juice. Personally I think watermelon infused vodka can often end up too watery or harsh, but this had good body to it.
Great tour, drinks, and staff at this upstart distillery. Very cool spot with a ton of interesting history.
A recent arrival on the scene (circa 2019), Tenmile Distillery is doing great things in the market. Currently they bottle a noteworthy vodka, a uniquely fragrant gin, and under aging is single-malt whiskey on extensive back-order. Additionally they brew a lager and an IPA, all products use locally sourced grains for fermentation. On grounds is a garden which supplies the mint used, and soon juniper will be grown there. Very friendly staff and elegant furnishings. Tours upon appointment.
Classy, warm, rustic and comfortable with phenomenally-good locally-produced spirits. The architecture of the place is incredible and the staff are super friendly and courteous.
The aroma of grains wafted across the parking lot as we arrived at this converted dairy farm. We entered a large event room that is perfect for receptions or other events. After a tour of the operations, we were treated to a tasting of the gin, vodka, and whiskey.
The team was gracious and informative. All and all a wonderful experience.
