Tesla Supercharger reviews
7Would've love to see a couple fast food place around. There is a Price Chopper in the lot which is better than nothing.
Quite disappointed. Only car here and only getting 40kw. Not to mention how bad the battery perform in cold weather.
This 250kW Supercharger Station is one of the fastest Tesla superchargers in the North Country. I've never had a problem with it. The commenter who complained that he only got 40kW at this location must have pulled in with a cold battery and/or the battery was already more than 50% charged when they plugged in.
Completely iced when I arrived. I called the store to see if they could do anything about it and was hung up on. I just had to wait until someone was done shopping to charge.
Didn't get more than 40 kw on multiple occasions. Before hitting the road back to NYC we went to charge up there and it charged at 4 kw. Ended up driving to chestertown and charging there instead!
Perfect spot to charge and shop. Bathrooms located inside the supermarket. ICE cars are respectful of the chargers and all were open.
Fast charger located in price chopper parking lot. There are few other shops around. A short ride from Mirror lake if you are staying in one of the hotels there. We stayed in Crown Plaza where there was a destination charger for guests and we had the only Tesla that week. So we didn't use the supercharger as much and plugged it in overnight at the hotel. Still, a great addition to lake placid area.
