TESO LIFE, Queens NY

The interior make this place feels like a whole different place. I've heard sweets taste different from another country. So thanks to this place, I've truly enjoyed a piece of candy. Odd huh. There is a large variety of items but my main goal was the candy and perhaps the chips.

I was there yesterday had a nice array of snacks and few other stuff I picked up, my favorites are the hello panda snacks. I was looking for one of these store last year but I glad I found it again

It has all of the popular Japanese products but the service is awful. As the only non East Asian customer, I was followed around by an employee and it was deeply uncomfortable. If you're that concerned about stealing, why don't you follow everyone all the time? Why don't you just watch through a camera and have someone guard the front of the store? Or you could lock everything up and leave out testers? Anyway, I won't be coming back and it's a shame the store will never read these reviews.

The one in the city is better cause this place has not a lot of inventory compared to nyc Teso

There’s a lot of variety in the store. Reasonable prices. A minimal fee far a bag upon check out.

I felt being offended by the employees following and staring at me. These actions are very disrespect to my privacy. I immediate put everything back and left the store.

If i could give this review a 0 I would! I went to this location for my sister who loves shopping at the "Teso Life" stores, & all the other locations never did this! We noticed the manager following us multiple times (literally breathing up our neck), & the front workers kept giving us dirty looks. We ended up buying almost 140.00$ worth of items even though we shouldn't have!

I got my lucky cat from this store today and my gold bunny yesterday, because it will be the rabbit year.
I never eat chips, but if I see this one I grab a bag and eat it all.
Price is great the same huge cat was today $75 in Manhattan, other store $55 got it here $35 plus tax. I meet with the “following” workers too, he don’t bother me
I think because the economy and many are stealing from stores, unfortunately the stores have to be more aware and we have to more often now deal with it. Just a bit understanding. Many chips candy sweets, but also cosmetics and sodas in the store.
Close by the same Teso Life, my opinion worth for a visit!

Great selection of candies and cosmetics and a large assortment of other things! We enjoyed their wall of shame where they've got security camera stills of people who stole from them.

Decided to give this branch a try. The minute I walked in one male associate with unhappy face immediately started following me. I was standing in from of the skin products aisle, this associate was non stop walking around me and even walked in front of me, the distance was less than 2 feet. Extremely rude.

This completely turned off my interest off to browse around the store for other stuff.

So I proceeded to the casher with what I found and he followed me again. After I paid he was still in my eyesight.

TESO has a serious management issue. I will choose to shop somewhere from now on unless I have no choice.

Cute shop with great finds and snacks, but shopping here was very uncomfortable. Multiple employees were following me, and watching my every move as if I was stealing. What a shame. Good thing Flushing has other Asian stores.

Great prices all differents products and very clean place a little difficut to go trougth if ya have a baby on a stroller

Was a cute shop but it's really uncomfortable when one of the workers starts to follow you (literally almost speed walking). I wasn't the only person in the store but definitely the only non Chinese that is a poc and was told by my Chinese s/o there was about 2 workers watching me. Wasn't until I held my s/o's arm was when I noticed they stopped. Prefer the Brooklyn location over this one.

I don’t like Teco at all so ridiculous I rather go to Ebisu than Teco, Teco is so ridiculous

These stores are so awesome but it’s so weird how they just breathe down your neck when your shopping. I understand theft and I used to work retail but like they don’t even try to hide it they just stare at you it’s so weird
