This is a great salon! Friendly, clean, and timely. My last visit Saarai braided my hair, 2 knotless feed-in braids, I love them! I highly recommend!

I brought my 4 year old (wiggly) daughter in today to have her hair trimmed and braided, and we had a great experience. Shameka was wonderful - she was really kind and patient with my daughter and made every part of the experience special and fun for her. You can tell she's great with kids and has tons of experience with all ages. And my daughter's hair turned out absolutely beautiful. I couldn't be happier - I highly recommend Textures and Shameka! We will definitely be back!

I am in total pleasure with the outcome of my new haircut. After I failed to properly care for my color treated hair, I went to Carly, the owner of the salon, and requested a bigchop. I was a bit afraid to do it because the last time I had a short haircut was over 10yrs ago and it was relaxed. Being natural, I wasn't sure how I would fair, but all of my fears went away when I sat in her chair and then she removed my hair wrap. She talked to me about the current status of my hair and how she would fix it. And she did just that. We changed the color to jet black, which pops against my brown skin. She asked me if I wanted lines in it, which I excitedly said, "Yes! Let's do it! " The lines on the side really added a boost of flare to my cut.

Since debuting my new cut on March 30th, I've received sooooo many compliments from family, friends and strangers. And I mention it was done by Carly from Texture Beauty.

Listen, I don't know how long I will keep the cut, but I do know that I have fallen in love with my hair all over again.

Each and every encounter I have at this salon has been professional and beautiful. Even during COVID19, the precautions taken are amazing. I would highly recommend this salon.

Worst experience I ever had. Unprofessional owner who does not care to provide a welcoming atmosphere to new clients. This place is ran like a chaotic zoo. You make an appointment and have to wait hours before your taken care of. No one even cares to communicate when you will be seen. There's no common courtesy, and if you have an issue you are turned away from being seen at all because they dont feel that anyone's feelings are valid. They have a shut up and take it attitude and should be banished from the industry. I feel like it's my duty to warn future clients looking for a respectable established to be serviced.
