THAI BKK reviews
20I love Thai BKK. The food is super fresh, the kitchen is spotless and the ladies you run the place are amazing. I get lunch from them at least twice a week.
Solid spot really good food, everything was delicious exactly what I needed. Will definitely be back
Takeout only for now due to Covid. I had a green curry and spring rolls. A bit salty but it was pretty ok. I will try some other dishes next time.
What is wrong with this place? First of all the number that appears on Google is wrong. I ordered from Grubhub and the order was meant to arrive by 1: 55pm. They don’t pick up calls so when I was getting ready to call my bank to dispute this charge, my food arrived at 3: 15pm. This was meant for lunch. Don’t recommend this place. Super unresponsive.
First of all all the items price is hand written on their menu. Secondly Food is way too sour. They charge extra for the shrimp option which is ok but they gave 2/3 small shrimps for the large orders
Trash. Ordered Take out, never delivered, never answered my phone call. I called numerous times because it was two hours past the time I placed my order. This is New York, if you don’t treat your customers right they have plenty of other places to spend their money. Don’t waste your time ya’ll.
Good little thai spot with good food for takeout. Would order from here again. Great wings and pad se ew.
Amazing thai street food i ordered delivery and everything was hit and crispy, There were tons of flavor and the presentation was everything you'd want to see in your food!
After tasting other Pad Thai dishes in the neighborhood, this place by far is my favorite. I order it with Tofu and I’m never disappointed. Paired with a squeeze of lime juice and fresh bean sprouts delicious.
Consistently great food, fast, with tons of vegan and vegetarian options, fairly priced with decent portions. I've ordered from here many times and they have yet to disappoint. They're my favorite Thai place in the area. My favorite dishes so far are the drunken noodles, basil fried rice, vegan mock duck in ginger sauce, and tom *yum* soup. The red coconut curry is tasty but I like mine with lots more vegetables and the portion for it seems a bit small. I'm trying the massaman curry tonight. I also love the mango juice - tastes fresh?
I so wanted to like this place, especially since I was starving!
I ordered through Uber Eats (that's a whole other horror story) and the delivery took about 2 hours to arrive. Naturally, after such a long wait the food was cold as ice. I could live with that, but the food was bland. The tamarind salmon was moist, but surprisingly, didn't have any flavor. I think it was because the broccoli that was placed in the same container absorbed all of liquid. The broccoli was so saturated with the watery tamarind sauce, I had to toss it.
The spring rolls saved the day! They're not overly tasty or delicious, but they definitely stave off hunger pains in a pinch.
Maybe I'll give them another try, but dining in the restaurant as opposed to delivery. Fingers crossed for better tasting foo
TERRIBLE SERVICE - Extremely Disappointed
Ordered Chicken Pad Thai with extra chicken, paid $18.45, chicken in the dish was dry and barely consumable. Called the place to complain, girl on the phone has no idea how to help, offered to make the dish over, but I'm not sure how another repulsive Pad Thai full of dried up chicken would help. Very disappointed with the food and service. Had to throw the entire dish to the trash.
Never disappoints! The food is always spot on! Very delicious and consistent with taste and amount. I love Thai BBK, especially after a busy day.
I rarely leave reviews on restaurants but this place is soooo good. I am a lifelong resident of the area, and for a long time there were never any Thai places. Later for traveling downtown for good Thai food. Everything I order comes hot and is delicious. Do not hesitate to walk in or order online!
Never disappointed me. Love Polly ️ drinks are great. Don’t agree with the two hour closing time mid day but ️ they make up for it with the fried Dumplings. Customer service is always amazing and the ambiance is calm. Thank you!
I recommend their Thai green salad with peanut sauce. Their hot spicy shrimp soup is good too.
I also like their fried rice with chicken and their mango juice.
Got their pad de de, pad Thai, and tom yum soup a few times. Consistently really good, never disappointed.
I meet friends in this nice place from time to time! This is my favorite restaurant to pass a nice evening. I visit this place regularly. The meals are fantastic, the workers are friendly and the prices are decent. I enjoy going in this restaurant for a decent supper.
The menu and service were beyond my expectations. We absolutely enjoyed the vibes of this spot. Great place to take the family out for lunch.
This restaurant provides wonderful service as well as enjoyable food. One of my favourite spots in the city. The meals served quickly and the rates are fair. Recommended.
