Thali of India, Corning NY

This was some of the best Indian cuisine I've ever had. I highly recommend their mango lassi, it was delicious. Had a wonderful time here.

I enjoyed it. Havent had a lot of Indian food, so I'm not a great judge of it. We did get a lot of food!

Stopped in for a quick bite and was NOT disappointed.
We had the Chicken Pakora appetizer-YUM! Light and just delicious-the spicy dipping sauce was the right blend of spice and savory!
For dinner we had the garlic naan, kebob and the Meat Dum Pasanda. Highly recommend both entrees! The lamb was so tender and melted in your mouth. The basmati rice was not overcooked or sticky!
The service here is exceptional! We were welcomed and served quickly. Portions were just right. We will definitely be back. Thanks again for a wonderfully relaxing meal!

I’m a local and have gone here for 6 years. Super nice people who work really hard to bring delicious Indian food to our town. Love the chicken makhani, naan bread, samosa, etc. Ambience of restaurant isn’t great but you’ll be full and happy! Please give them a try! We do both takeout and dine in. This family worked really hard to stay in business through covid and was a bright spot when many other places were shut down. Thank you!

We enjoyed tandoori chicken, naan and a mango lassi! So yummy, will definitely eat here again.

Honestly some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had! The chicken Palak was spectacular! It could use some better lower lighting for dinner time but the food will keep me coming back!

Great service and food is tasty. If you need help picking some food I recommend just asking the staff what their favorite is.

Called in to ask if they had a buffet which they did not, even though they it's advertised on their website. Then confirmed that they did have all thali available alongaide telling me the price. We drive down only for the thali option and guess what they don't have thali availability. So we ordered food anyways and it was mediocre resulting in me giving 2 stars instead of the 1. Aloo parhata was a Naan filled some bland potatoes. Guess if u want to try indian food for the first time it wouldn't be that bad. But for experienced foodies, not the place.

Great food! Friendly staff! The mixed grill and non vegetarian Thali meal were huge, we couldn’t finish it and have yummy leftovers for lunch.

We weren't sure what to expect as this was our first time here. We ordered an appetizer and meals. It was clear that everything was made from scratch and authentic. The flavors were fabulous and the portions generous. We will definitely make Thali a regular dining experience.

Excellent food, good price. We stopped in for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised. We will certainly be back, hopefully soon.

I think it's important to note that I could choose to have my meal prepared mild, medium or spicy.

Delicious food. There are many vegetarian options and you can choose your level of spiciness from mild to hot. The dishes we had were filling and very tasty. I look forward to coming back.

I have never had Indian food before because I always thought Indian and spicy were synonymous. The food was delicious and they gave us the choice of how spicy we wanted it - which was great for my weak taste buds! My children who like spicy were equally as impressed with their food. Potions were quite large and we had a lot of food left over. Will definitely go again when I am in Corning!
