In my experience, with both private consultation & workshops, AGR is a waste of money.

We had a 20 min consult where she told me my character type was “slave”. Waste of time and money

My favorite place to take workshops, learn, grow, and have a sense of community.
Classes are small, CD workshops are fashioned after actual auditions (you step into a room with an AMAZING reader) - and you always receive invaluable feedback. You also get to see the “auditions” of your peers which is often even more helpful than your own.
If you are not familiar, just check out the website and also take a look at Elevate. An amazing platform to help you view your career as would the CEO of a company, bc thats what we are!
I heart AGR!

Acting as an art form + Running your own business + Spirituality= The Actor's Green Room. It's the Ying & Yang for actors. It's the Small Business Owner's haven for artists. It's the place to feel safe and part of a community. Thank you to Jen, Natalie all the teachers, staff and fellow artists for making AGR an amazing space to grow as an artist, understand the industry both in person and online.

Over priced for what is offered. Paid for a year “Elevate” membership and received absolutely no benefits from that. Had a scheduled meeting with Jen for almost a year and the week of our meeting she canceled and wanted to reschedule - we never ended up meeting.
I paid to attend “agents night” and I paid for several several interesting classes but overall got the impression that this is just a business for making the owner money rather than a business for getting actors into the business, I’m pro business so I don’t fault her, but I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who wants to be an actor! It’s not all bad, by any means, but it’s just not great either.

In my almost eight years living in NYC, I am grateful for the numerous opportunities to network with and learn from theatrical and film professionals. Of all the studios I have worked from - there is something special about AGR. At the Actor's Green Room, the small classes, and the focus upon the development of everyone's creative voice - not just as actors, but nurturing the flexing of all our artistic muscles - gives AGR an edge. The sense of community that is derived from activating all parts of our instrument - celebrating and honing not just the technical side of acting - but the spiritual and emotional - truly changed my relationship to this business. Thanks to AGR, I have discovered possibilities within myself I had never imagined were possible, this late in the game, for me. As someone who has already spent over forty years in this business - this flowering of new possibilities has been revelatory.

I've grown so much personally and professionally during my time at AGR. I especially love Natalie Roy's 'Activated Actor' classes. They're awesome, and they make acting so much fun!

Total game changer for Actors! The Actor's Green Room and Elevate are critical tools for actors at any stage of the game. Jen has created an energizing and nurturing place to learn everything you need to know to succeed, help you to collaborate & network, and learn from the best in the business. I had a private consult with Jen in Dec 2018 and she helped me to fine tune my brand and create a clear path towards achieving my goals! Highly recommend AGR/Elevate for classes, consults, workshops, everything you need to reach the next level!

The Actors Green Room helped me get my feet wet in a supportive, judgment-free environment. I went to undergrad AND grad school for acting, but when I emerged into the world, I had no idea how to approach the industry like a savvy business person. The staff is exceptionally kind and knowledgable. I found my incredible manager through AGR's Manager Night, and now have years-long relationships with dozens of New York casting directors because of AGR. AGR planted the seeds of my career.

This is the perfect place to train your auditioning and marketing technique! Jen Rudolph has a big heart for artists and a great sense of humor. I am so grateful for all the input I got from the classes that I booked at the AGR!

When I recently moved to NYC, I didn't exactly know how to navigate the acting scene. I have no connections here and I would be starting over again in a major market. I had heard good things about AGR so I decided to have a career consult with Jen. In less than an hour, she broke down my type, gave me appropriate sides, told me which CD's to target, and gave me referrals on who to take headshots with. I am very impressed with the classes offered and the community here. If you're looking to reach your acting goals efficiently and fast, there is no other place like The Actor's Green Room.

Once I was guided to the Actors Green Room, my life changed as an actress. I truly feel for the first time in my life I have been met with the most useful, technical, entrepreneurial skills infused with complete integrity concerning the business of film and television. My work ethic has never been better and with mentors like Jen Rudolph, Natalie Roy, Jessica Blank, Kristin Hanggi and the amazing casting directors that I have had the opportunity to work in front of and learn from as well as the incredible webinars on Elevate, I truly feel that I am prepared and ready for anything. Oh and just in case -if I'm not- I have a resource and network that I can reach out to in order to prepare myself and know that I am putting my best foot forward to the best of my ability as a professional. This is a special group of people that believe in support and that the ocean runs deep-there is enough for everyone. I am so appreciative of the wonderful mix of honesty, integrity and shhh (spirituality) this place has to offer. This work (Acting) inspires me and has my heart 100% so to find this place, a safe haven for actors with guidance you can trust- for me and to me, has made all the difference. Thank God for the Actors Green Room!: D

AGR is a special place in NYC that offers an array of services for actors. I love how involved the owner (Jen) is. She cares about her actors/clients/"Baby Sharks" as Jen calls us. If she gets to know you, and your work, she will 100% go to bat for you, which is pretty darn cool. I have been to other studios like AGR and have never even met the owners. They just don't take the same interest in their clientele that Jen does. That is what makes AGR so special. If you hang around for a while, you will see that it is a unique and tight-knit community. I have made so many friends and also produced so many short films with other actors that I met via AGR. AGR offers lots of different classes, CD intensives, and an on-line platform called ELEVATE. There's something for everyone! Break legs, y'all! Xo

Loved working with Jen & Natalie while there were out in LA recently. Being new to this community I am excited for all of the classes, coaching and genuine support this group offers. Offerings not only on the acting side but also the business side which is so important. Cannot wait for them to return to LA and for my next trip to NYC for more!

AGR has been a blessing for my career. About a year ago I had my craft down and had trained extensively and was ready to break into the business of TV & Film. It’s a tough business and can be very confusing for a newcomer to navigate. Fast forward to this year I signed with an agent about 3 weeks ago and I have been sent out on 3 prime time episodic auditions already. I have a reached a new level in my career thanks in large part to the insights I gained at AGR and the relationships I built here. I found a home here and an incredible support system to help me navigate this crazy career.

One advice I would give you is you have to go in with a learning mindset. The workshops you will take with the CDs is the closest you will ever get to experiencing the actual audition. The very first CD workshop, I took, I actually ended up bombing it due to nerves kicking in. In retrospect I absolutely needed to fall flat on my face in order grow and evolve and thank god AGR provided the safe space to do that. It got smoother for me after that and every CD workshop I have done I have gotten valuable feedback and insights out of it.

One tip: I highly recommend joining the ELEVATE online mastermind program. It’s the absolute baseline you need to thrive in this business. Natalie’s nerves class alone is pure gold. Jordan Ancel will wake you up to the business savvy, mindsets, and discipline you need to thrive. And Jen has chock full of no-nonsense tips on how navigate the practical aspects of your acting career from getting your type and materials right all the way to auditions and behaving on set. You also get discounts to the workshops by joining Elevate - so you will get back what you pay for it in form of discounts.

The Actor's Green Room has changed my perspective on my acting career-I finally feel like I am in the driver's seat. Not only does AGR provide you with infinite, accessible resources through Elevate, but it also draws an amazing community that supports, understands, and celebrates each other. Jen Rudolph is incredibly generous and goes above and beyond in her work for and with us. She is approachable and candid in a way that is refreshing and rare in this business. I have been involved in this community for less than a year, and already my bookings, callbacks, and creative expression have reached the next level.

The Actor's Green Room (AGR) is the place to attend if you're looking to advance your career as an artist. I'm not going to sound cheesy but honest in what I've experience and seen thus far.

I WAS and off and on actor, meaning when life threw me lemons, I had to make lemonade first and then feed my heart later (acting is my soulmate). Like many artist, living and following your dreams are hard to pursue when you're broke. In 2017, I stopped making excuses for myself for not having enough money and asked myself, "If not having enough money is always the problem, then how am I going to fix it? " I made the decision whether or not if I had the money I was going to take scene study classes, get footage for my reel, create a website, and get updated headshots. Later that year, I booked 6 gigs (paid) in 5 months without an agent or manager (pretty good for a non-union actor who's been on the sideline for quite some time). I completed everything on my list except my website.

Then my career came to a halt. I connected with an AD I worked with in the past for some advice to move forward in my career. She introduced me to The Actor's Green Lounge (head to Facebook for that) and requested me to join. I couldn't be more happier taking her advice. From the lounge, I witnessed other artist careers take off, Jen Rudolph's weekly videos of encouragement and what The Actor's Green Room had to offer (ELEVATE and much more).

From there, I made an appointment for a consult with Josh (he's amazing if Jen isn't available) and found out what my type is. I finally completed my website, but still haven't joined ELEVATE. Fast forward to Christmas 2018 when a friend gifted me ELEVATE to continue my journey.

From joining ELEVATE, I've learned so much about myself and the business. Jen is very generous in providing an open and honest platform for artist to strive. She understands the starving artist struggle and does her best to make accommodations to see the artist flourish. It is with her knowledge (The Shark Method) that I've seen careers take off.

The Actor's Green Room has so many great things to offer an artist. There's Casting Director's Workshops, Meditation Workshops, ELEVATE (content on how to run your business like a CEO with Jordan Ancel, Natalie Roy's Nerve Class, Jen's Marketing class) and so much more.

If you're looking for a community to support you, classes that would help you achieve your goals and content that would take your career to the next level, then head to AGR and see what applies to you. I believe you would have "YOUR BEST DAY EVER! (Logan's inspirational daily post on Facebook) when you book your dream role.

As for me, I'm making that progress now and I can't wait to share with you MY BEST DAY EVER!
