The Baby Academy

I have taken several classes through The Baby Academy now, and I have enjoyed every single one! The instructors are all super clear and knowledgeable, and they have helped ease several of my first-time-mom fears. I highly recommend The Baby Academy to any first-time moms, dads, and even any other friends or family members who will have a hand in caring for a newborn!

The Baby Academy truly cares! All their free classes has given us so much peace of mind! I would not be prepared like I am now if it was not for them. So so thankful and blessed!

I have attended the Baby Academy - Baby Care Class and Baby Safety Class. I could not recommend these courses enough! Not only are they free which is so generous and thoughtful to all parents, but they are super informative including ample resources following each course. The classes are broken down in to structured sections with opportunity to ask questions and break along the way. I appreciate how friendly the nurses have been and how they incorporate their own experience from work and parenting into explaining how to care for your baby. Thank you Baby Academy!

We attended an ultimate birthing class last week led by Hannah and it was great! We learned lots in that all-day session, super convenient this was virtual with the possibility to ask questions.

The baby academy provides an amazing baby care classes for the first time mom and it’s free class. The staff are very knowledgeable and respectful. Answer all the questions that the first time mom asked and confused. I’m very glad I found this program before I give birth to my first born son who is due on the thanksgiving day.

I have attended the baby care, breastfeeding and the hypnobirthing class and I have found each one of them thoroughly interesting and helpful! I really like the use of language and how they just simplify everything where you don’t feel pressure to have to do so what the midwife’s are advising! Love them will deffo recommend!

I attended 2 classes so far (more to go!) The latest one was about breastfeeding. It was great to see a demonstration and get to know how products like Haaka manual breast pump can help breastfeeding moms. I would like to know more about Haaka and their products and test it out for myself when my baby arrives!

I thoroughly enjoyed this class! I loved the instructor. She was very easy to follow and answered all of our questions. She was also personable and not super scripted. The information was much needed and I received more than I thought I would in a free class. So thanks to Stokke.

This class was great! It was a lot of information at once though so if I were to do it again, I would choose the split option (splitting the course into 2 half days as opposed to 1). Overall, I loved it though and the presenter did a great job keeping our attention too! "

This review is for the Free Hypnobirthing Class. I was skeptical about what hypnobirthing was but I’ve found the other baby academy classes to be evidence based and very informative so I thought it would be a good place to learn about it. This class I would say mostly covers a lot of the non invasive techniques to bring some calm and relief during labor (breathing exercises, perineal massage, pregnancy yoga, acupuncture points etc) as well as explain what hypnobirthing is and the existing research about it. It also covers the anatomy and physiology of birth and labor which I really liked. So I would recommend as a good place to start if you want a “toolbox” of different techniques you can use to help you during labor and delivery. I also recommend their full childbirth class as well as their breastfeeding prep class. It’s easier to navigate all the “advice”, ads, decisions and planning that you have to do when you have your own knowledge base from a reliable source.

The classes are excellent and well worth the time spent. I feel so much more prepared for my baby. I love that these are online as well which makes things very convenient!
