Rented a suit for my brothers wedding. All the groomsmen and the groom looked great! Very pleased. Would recommend this company to others.

Having previously had a good experience with the Black Tux as a groomsman, I placed my order with the Black Tux a month ago at their NYC showroom for my own wedding being held on October 17. I received an email on September 22 that the order was being prepared. Great, good start.

However, on September 28, I received an email from a customer service representative that they were low on inventory on the jacket, pants, and dress shirt. I'm a bigger guy and I ordered a more obscure colored jacket, so my guess is that they never had the inventory to begin with and didn't bother checking until they started putting together the shipment. It is absurd that they don't have a way of checking inventory at the time of sale to know whether or not they should have the items in stock to fulfill the order and, if they don't, obtain the items to fulfill the order.

I replied to their customer service representative, angry and upset about what is transpiring, and asked about what they can do to remedy this situation. After no response, I called and a different representative passed a message to the representative who had originally emailed me (she clearly had no interest in helping me). Still no word back. With my wedding only 17 days away, I now have no choice but to take my business somewhere else.

Let me know 2 weeks before the wedding that they wouldn't have my size available. Would only offer 20% off for items of wildly different sizes. Wouldn't have cared if I was a groomsman, but since it's my wedding really was looking for a suit that actually fits. They gave a lame-duck excuse about COVID, but it's clear they just rented their inventory and didn't feel like buying additional units to meet demand. Absolutely horrible company, would highly suggest not using them.

Lauren was so EXCELLENT. She helping me with my fitting which was greatly needed. Measured, tailored and fitted me properly. Was super informative and so friendly. I can’t wait to be in the wedding with my fitted tux! Thank you so much Lauren and for everything you did. I nightly recommend her and plan to be back soon!

Me and my fiancé recently went here to check out different tuxedo options for our wedding. We were helped by Lauren and had an incredible experience from start to finish. She was very patient and honest with us. She made us feel very comfortable about asking any and every question that came to mind. Oh MY GOD! The reason of my choice. Every associate that helped me from measuring at the location in NY. To John, an associate that helped online about my order because I had the day of the event wrong. Every one was understandable, patient and clear with their explanations. They all reassured me about my worries. From making the right choice of jacket as a wedding guest to helping me knowing that I could send my tuxedo from Chicago right after the wedding. I would definitely recommend their services. Was my first wedding you guys sure made it a wonderful experience, people at the wedding thought I had this tux in my closet since it did fit me perfectly. I have another wedding coming during the summer, you will see me coming back for sure guaranteed

Good quality materials but the actual service is terrible and poorly thought out. I went to the actual showroom and got fitted for a tux for a wedding party. The items arrived, the shirt's sleeves were far too long on and the jacket's sleeves far too short - I can't go to the showroom to have the jacket sleeves let out because they don't do that there so instead I've been told to go to a tailor and then submit for a $15 reimbursement which won't cover the full cost of the tailor. I find it a bit ridiculous that I had to go get fitted only to be sent the wrong sizes and that now I have to go to a tailor and come out of pocket to correct Black Tux's error. Seems like a waste of my time and money - I've been in quite a few weddings and I've always used and never had a single issue with Men's Warehouse - this is my first with Black Tux and I can say with certainty that I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

I had an amazing experience here. My stylist was Lauren. She was amazing — helping me find my exact fit - and full of solutions for how to look good as a groom on my big day.

The experience at the store wasn't great. We made an appiappointfor 4 people and they only gave us 30 minutes and said they only had time for 3 people. The staff weren't helpful at all and made us wait until we asked why they aren't taking one of us, thats when they told us there wasn't enough time even though it took only 5 min to get the meaumeasurem. The tux's it self is nice but too expensive to rent honestly.

These guys are awesome. It's so easy from beginning to end, and their option/styles are limitless. I loved the experience.

Placed a last-minute order two days before an event (paid rush service and all) and was very excited to receive my tux. Didn’t receive a tracking confirmation within 24 hours, so I called customer service, only to be informed that my order couldn’t be fulfilled. Had I not called, there’s no telling how long it would’ve been before I was notified. I’m sure the tuxes are nice, but the service was extremely poor and I wouldn’t recommend them if you find yourself in a pinch.

Great experience. They made picking a great looking tux a breeze. Customer service was excellent and sent out additional items immediately for us to try. All 10 of the men in the wedding party as well as the fathers and ring bearers looked fantastic - would definitely use them again!

The entire experience with the black tux was awesome! From the gentleman who helped me pick out my look who I sadly don't know his name to the actual event. When renting a tux it almost always feels cheap and you can tell it's rented. I didn't feel that way once with this! I was impressed with the quality and everyone was shocked that I was wearing a rental! Outstanding experience! I'm looking for my next excuse to wear a tux ASAP!

Excellent service. I was in and out in 20 minutes, had a perfect fitting tux mailed to me. There was a hiccup on my end with returning it and Harline at customer service and the team were extremely helpful. 5/5 would recommend

I never and I mean NEVER leave reviews. Too notch service, used men’s warehouse and was tired of tux places until I was a groomsmen and needed to use Black Tux. Best experience I’ve ever had!

From them being attentive to fitting PERFECTLY to coming a box so I didn’t have to return to the store it was an amazing experience. Using Black Tux for my wedding HANDS DOWN!

Great experience with the people at the store, taking measurements and getting the correct size for me. They were great with advice on fit and what would be best for the event. All in all, a great tux rental. And way more streamlined and stylish than those ones you used in high school.

Made appointment online, service was excellent, prompt and friendly. Stylists there have great sense and ensured my order would arrive to my house quickly. Plus their suits and tuxes look pretty amazing as well. Would recommend.

After reading the reviews, I was kind of shocked by my experience at the Black Tux. Maybe he was having an off day, but the gentleman that helped me had zero service skills, explained nothing whatsoever and even when I attempted to engage with questions. I received one word answers which consisted mostly of "no"or "we don't do that. " I was given a tux to try on, told "that's all we have", followed by "you're all done".
Great.thanks? Avoid this place unless you want a more expensive Men's Warehouse with poorer service.
