The Canandaigua Lady

Very pricy, 85$, for a buffet of ziti, vegetables and 1 chicken wing on a Styrofoam plate to be eaten with plastic ware. There was a wilted salad and rolls set out in paper bowls before we arrived for our immediate consumption. I so wish I would have taken a picture of the meal. Cookies and brownies were set at each table before hand for dessert. The tables were very tight with eight persons per. The mystery theater was fair. The actors did a pretty good job to engage the guests, however, I feel that the subject matter of the skit was quite risqué at best.

The dinner cruise only is set at $70, I believe. Perhaps the dinner is nicer on that cruise. I do not know.

Thankfully, we were with family which made it more enjoyable.

Beautiful! The only reason I didn't give a five is because I think there should have been more choices for dinner for the price.

Our tour got cancelled due to bad weather. I understand they can't do the tour however they should offer a refund. Great, they offer a voucher or a tour on a different day however most people that take these tours are on vacation and have a limited calendar so a voucher or different day is simply not an option.

Canceled without notice. Was actually at the cruise window, 12 noon, before being notified of cancellation. A phone call or email should have been made 1 hour PRIOR. We drove an hour each way to get here. Forget a refund either. On the smallest, 4 font, script font, they mention no refunds, last page once all other data entered. Bogus. We live 4.5 hours away. Can't just "reschedule " due to THEM canceling. August 8,2023.

It was a great ride, on a beautiful lake! BRING CASH. We were on a public narrated tour and there were snacks. I bought 2 snacks, a bottle of water and a can of iced tea (snacks were $2 ea, drinks $3 ea). I was told $10 and had to leave my card with the guy working in the snack bar (which I get, but had I known, I would've had cash). When we got back to shore, they said it was $17. Of course I corrected them and the lady working at the ticket counter said ok $12 (which I rebuffed.the sign said, and I was told $10), but she was rude and said "It's easy math, $3x4 is $12.which I replied telling her flat out the snacks were only $2 ea.not $3. WHY the $17 was on my card, I have no idea. (I'll leave this to speculation. I'm not saying anything was going on). Just bring cash. (And I wasn't being rude, if this was assumed. I was trying to make sure they were aware of this situation in case there were issues going unseen.)

I've been to Canandaigua many times over the past 20 years. However, I've yet to see this boat open for
tours. It always looks abandoned.

Crew was fabulous from check in to check out. Captain did an amazing job telling us about the area. We would do this trip again fast for the relaxation.

Went with my family. Very nice and love Katie and the bartender! Who ever is giving information over the speaker is misinformed. He calls the native Americans "Indians" and also said that the area was reclaimed from the savages. Very disappointed in that as well as many others on the cruise. Update your speaker please.

Book the narrated cruise. They had PA problems blaming it on the wind! SMH seems like it could be windy there a lot so it either fix it or don’t offer it as a narrated cruise! First time this has happened on a cruise! Hopefully they don’t use the same system in emergencies!
