The Chippery NYC

It was a rainy day I've been watching to come here for months I got out of work early around 2: 00 got there luckily on the parking spot about half a block away win in red the menu but all I wanted was the fish and chips counter guy was very nice I'm not sure why but it's surprised me that each other is made fresh and as you order didn't take long and I was in the car couldn't wait I ate it right there and it was Nirvana fish was just right the batter was incredible The chips although not the traditional long ones these were little round ones had some nice seasoning on them they're also very good I finished the fish and so most of the chips as I was parked the night the rest of the chips on the way home I would recommend this place it's small maybe six tables but very very very good I will be back as soon as I can

I work very close to the Chippery. There’s not many options around here to eat and if I may say it’s one of the best seafood I had in such a long time living in New York City hands down so good, so fresh I’m very satisfied. 10 out of 10 oh and try the fried Oreos

I thought I'd grab some dinner to go from this place after work, im glad I did! The seafood was so fresh and hot, perfect end to a crazy day.

When I tell you I love my food fresh, hot and well seasoned do that.and The Chippery did! I ate my food so fast I forgot to take pics. Good vibe atmosphere and priced right for the quality and location. Definitely coming back.

Easily the worst fish and chips.firstly they aren't even chips crinkle cut greasy saucer shaped tastless potato pieces secondly the fish was old curly and tastless.a joke of a restaurant easily the WORST fish in chips not just in New York but probably the world.

I have seen this place a few times but never went in yesterday I was in the mood for some seafood and didn't really want to use uber eats I ordered the fried shrimp and was instantly impressed the staff was very courteous and accommodating I will definitely be back to whoever the owner is I hope you have a catering option because I feel I can use you for our next office party

Fresh ingredients and careful preparation. Great fish and chips. Not easy to do this side of the Atlantic.

Love this place for guilty pleasure take out but the most recent order lacked something. There was no option to choose cod for the $37 two person meal, the dessert that usually comes with it was no longer an option, and when it got here the calamari was overcooked and barely edible. Not sure if the restaurant has changed ownership or what but will deeply reconsider ordering from here again. Maybe the cook was off this time.

Decent enough fish and chips, but the fish was way too thin and was practically all breading. Popcorn shrimp were alright, chips themselves are pretty good but I think malt vinegar should come by default for a proper chippery. Fish bites were surprisingly good and coleslaw was a bit sweet but overall fine, pretty reminiscent of KFC coleslaw honestly.

Went here for soft shell crab and it was quite pricy. Each crab is $10 and it doesn't have much flavour. The sauce makes up for it. Some chinese/thai restaurant has 5-6 crabs for $20. Though the crab here is a bit bigger.

The fish and chips with lemonade was excellent. And the service is on par with the food. Will return!
