The Collision Star, Lynbrook NY

A careless driver almost totaled my car destroying the reader and side of my car. The collision star was a one stop shop, they listened to my original request and tried to see if insurance would total it. When insurance declined, they spent much time thoroughly getting the most money from insurance to fix my car properly, and only with brand name new parts.

My car runs, and looks beautiful. I would always choose them.

My Car was rear ended and dropped it off at The Collision Star for repair as they are Dealer preferred body shop. Dealt with Lisa and she was upfront and staff is fantastic.

Just had a black rear trunk emblem & rear black spoiler installed on my 2022 M340i, the mechanic did an awesome job it came out amazing!

Insurance paid 15000 for left tire area collision. They received the money. You would expect a prestine job. Nope battery was soooo loose my lights went off and was stuck several location before heading to work. Realized it was battery once my friend helped me. The wire to the back left tire where collision happened still loose twice.

Prior to going to this shop all the views was read. My car was in a collision and Hyundai recommend this location to work in my Auto insurance to fix my car. The experience from walking through the door was horrible inappropriate questions was asked by Lisa the receptionist, and was completely rude through out the whole experience. This shop over charge the cost to fix my vehicle which cost issues with my vehicle. While our vehicle was in their possession they vandalize the vehicle. There was a couple custom installations on the interior of the vehicle and they pulled it out without no acknowledgement to us the client. Their shop policy is to sign release paper to get the vehicle back. As we get the vehicle back notice the damages he inform them and show images. Their words are they NOT RESPOSIBLE AS PER PAPERWORK TO RELEASE VEHICLE WAS SIGNED. I truly do believe if my nationality was different the services would had been completely different. PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL, THERE ARE MULTIPLE CLIENTS WHO HAD ISSUES WITH THIS SHOP STEALING THINGS FROM THEIR VEHICLE. My car was left with extra damages without any concerns.

I used them twice. Once for a paint job, and once for body work when a car backed into my parked car. They were courteous, honest, helpful, and professional. The work was excellent. Lisa and Junior are terrific to work with and always informed me what was happening. They were right on time with their estimated delivery. Don't go anywhere else.

Out of all the shops that pick up and drop off at Collision Star is definitely the best! Very fast turnaround time! They only use OEM parts! I believe that they are certified with most major manufacturers including Tesla!

The experience at Collision Star is amazing. Lisa in particular made it a smooth process for me. She is patient, kind and understanding. She explains everything that is going to happen and made sure that me as the victim/customer felt safe. She always sent me updates about my Camry as far as the status goes with repairs and any questions I had, she answered for me with no problems. The rest of the team are professional and I would do business with them again if I had to in the future. Thank you for everything you guys do!

My 2002 Rav4 paint began to peel. Jr and his crackerjack crew match the paint and painted my car brilliantly. It look brand new. Thank you all!

Got my car back today (after one week). Looks brand new and already getting compliments on the paint job. My car had severe rust on the passenger side. Junior was very professional and knowledgeable. Lisa was very friendly and helpful. Wpuld recommend. The workers here did an amazing job.

I’ve known Curtis for a long time, The Collision Star was the only Body Shop I wanted to use when I needed Body work on my 2020 Lexus GX 460. Professional, Quality and timely work are just some words to describe this company. Great job all!

These guys are amazing. Kept me in the loop throughout the whole process and even got my car back to me earlier than expected.

Took my girlfriend’s 2016 BMW X3 here for body work on her passenger side door and they did an awesome job on the car. They matched the paint perfectly to how it was before. Also got a ceramic wax on the car which came out amazing! Definitely will be recommending them to my family friends. They were very friendly and on top delivered the car on the due date. Will be coming back for another ceramic wax on all my cars.

The service repair was beyond my expectations.it was done within the time frame that they set. The customer service was five stars from everyone except 1 person in particular and it seemed like this person (probably superior position and most certainly superior-oriented outside of position) thought too highly about themselves. Spoke to this person in-person and over the phone, I got the impression that this person was somewhat condescending and very dismissive. This person was still efficient yet requires a humbling reality check. Everyone else especially the young lady and the associate who I dealt with exclusively were very modest and pleasant.
Obviously, I don't think this person projects these qualities to everyone. I would name-drop, but I personally didn't challenge this person about the matter although I was well-aware. I played it nice.too nice because you had my vehicle in possession and didn't want to put the repair turnaround time in jeopardy.
