The Crafted Kup reviews
19If you are in the area stop in. Everything is delicious. This is my go to place when in Poughkeepsie!
I love breakfast here! Today I enjoyed a breakfast wrap, so delicious, and the bacon was crispy not overcooked! Yum!
This was my second time at The Crafted Kup. Although my beloved gingerbread cookie was not there, the Cran Orange Muffin was a nice replacement. Given that I AM Cuban, I was curious as to how strong the Cubano was. This Cuban approves of the Cubano. It was cortado size AND strength! The staff, as usual, are very professional, helpful and friendly. I look forward to returning, sooner than later.
I love this place! The coffee is amazing, great staff! Food is always good and super fresh!
I get their fresh ground to have it home as well.
Good Coffee.sad sandwich: every ingredients was there to get a good sandwich but the sandwich was served freezing cold.
Our kids loved the egg sandwiches though all 3 received bacon & I had only ordered one with bacon (take out so I couldn't return). My make your own sandwich was bland bean hummus but maybe that's my fault. The latte was good! Crowded during lunch/brunch time on a Sunday.
Atmosphere looks ok, but apparently they precut all of their bagels so you can't get a fresh bagel here. Look elsewhere unless you want stale bagels.
Lattes and hot chocolates were 5 stars on my recent visit. All other times I've gone here, it's been 3 stars.
The apple sandwich with turkey of the best I've tried, the cheff james another very friendly level excellent place and the best cheff james
Krafted Cup is a little Cafe in Arlington on the main strip. Visited by many Vassar students the place stays active. I had been enjoying their teas and muffins and made the mistake of ordering a breakfast sandwich. The sandwich seem to be put together using a microwave and preformed egg whatchamacallit. I had a bacon egg and cheese that was dry. The sandwich was not hot. Krafted Cup is exactly what it say it is! Krafted Cup not Krafted Sandwich!
Nice latte, really liked the vibe of the shop. The barista was friendly and alternative rock was playing in the background. Would recommend and will return.
If I could score this place with negative stars I would. Let's start w the coffee and espresso. I think they just go outside, find full ashtrays and dump it in hot water. Because that's what their coffee tastes like. We got egg and cheese on toasted bagles w portablla and brie. The bagels were not toasted. There was a single tiny sliver of brie, perhaps the size of a fry, on both sandwiches. The portabella was so vinegary it tasted like a dill pickle. The eggs were rubbery and seeing as its made like an omelttee, I gotta give you props for somehow screwing it up so bad it was rubbery. We threw it all in the garbage. Everything, even the hot chai was stone cold. It was disgusting. Save your money and go to Dunkins. They definitely taste better and that's sad.
Best coffee I've had since coming to the US for a visit. I've tried quite a number of coffee places and most have been about 4/10. This place was a definite 9 for flat white (latte). Good coffee strength which is mostly missing in the US.
The local Crafted cup use to be really good. I haven’t been here for two years but while they’re crew members are still nice, their bagels taste days old and with only two cream cheeses (plain and “garlic and herb”) the tiny amount slapped on with zero flavor, kinda musty mildew flavor, makes it entirely not worth it.
Also the cockroach we spotted on one of the blueberry muffins that the cashier couldn’t seem to find after my husband pointed it out.
Definitely visit the Crafted Kup when in Poughkeepsie. Here you can get the best coffee in town, and perhaps of Dutchess County!
The vibes and atmosphere in the coffeehouse are great, perfect to chill, get some work done, or meet friends. We simply love it here!
Good coffee, usually served slowly by a languid barrista; and good bagels, brought promptly from the kitchen. There's no real competition in the area, so it's "popular" with locals. NYC prices.
If you are in town, add this place for your morning cup of joe or for a quick bite with a friend and convo over coffee. The baked goods are to die for. If you really want to try the baked goods, go early. The lines are always long here and the hood stuff disappears very quickly. They staff is super friendly and always make you feel so welcome. There is a cozy library / seating area in the back on the store …. If you can find room, grab your spot. Nothing like a good book or a friend and freshly brewed coffee.
The cold brew is slammin’ and will definitely have you on a caffeine overload if you drink the whole bottle…
The barista‘s all seem very friendly and competent.
I’ve never seen a show here but they have a PA which makes me think they do quieter music events there.
Best coffee shop in Poughkeepsie! Awesome staff, food, and home made pastries by a CIA chef. They also source the best coffee beans!
