The Dermatology Specialists-Jamaica, Queens NY

I wish i could give less stars. They billed by insurance for a surgery when they “did a nail biopsy” and now I have to pay $150 copay. They didn’t even do anything. The doctor gave me nail clippers and made me clip my nail and scrape under my nail. I can’t believe this. They definitely should have warned me before this. I would never have agreed to this “procedure”. Then, they tried getting me to come back for the lab results, just to pay another $40 copay. Ridiculous. This place is a scam. I am extremely disappointed and will make sure i let everyone know not to go to this company and post this review everywhere.

Now. I just received a second bill for $30 basically for them to read the results and said they did the tissue exam. They sent it to the lab! They didn’t do anything! This is ridiculous! They send the highest codes to insurance and so they can get double paid. I can’t believe how much of a scam this place is. Never in my life will i go back, and my husband and sister go to a different location but I am telling them to change to a different company completely. I hope everyone on FB and Insta read this as well!

I saw Xiaochen Lenny Yang twice. Very low quality attention from them both times compared to other practices that have seen me. I just received a text today about an extra bill from the manhattan office, either they are attempting to overcharge me for services they didnt do or there is a copay they never told me about.super sus and bad experience overall.

I would recommend anyone to you guys the service you provide is Excellent keep up your good work

Very irresponsible to much running around and forgot give me a note for next appt then wants me to go bk and get it and told me a dark spot is freckels i dont need to be a doctor but i know thats stain by sun.two weeks ago wont stamp ir sign my receipt so i can get copay bk from my union.then co pay this co pay that

Clean, staff extremely friendly, dr & assistant friendly & answered all my questions. Explained clearly what’s going on & what I needed to do to fix it.

They are absolutely the best from the front desk staff to the Dermatologist Stephanie Duverge she is absolutely wonderful she is really attentive to your concerns and great at putting together a treatment plan that actually so far has been helping a lot. She’s the best I’ve been seeing her since July 2023. Highly recommend her.

First timer and from the reception am loving it, Dr Stephanie and her nurse so pleasant even at the time of my appointment (evening) they are calm and cool with explanation

Good so far. The area where the chemical peel was applied is still red and slightly burning. I really hope it subsides in a few hours

The staff at the location are really nice and take the time to listen to your concerns and needs. Also Dr. Yang is really great and personable and fun to talk to. She makes the procedure fun (even the painful ones).

Didn’t except my insurance wish the women would of told me when I walked in the other day before making appointment

First time to visit this location, from check in to check out process service was exceptional. I loved how straight forward the service was. I will stick with this location for all my appointments.

I had a wonderful dermatology experience. The staff at the Jamaica facility is very friendly and kind, and my dermatology session went exceptionally well. Dr. Yang took the time to speak with me, and answered all of my questions, and concerns. The session did not feel rushed, and Dr. Yang and her Assistant were so sweet. The facility is very clean. I look forward to my follow-up appointment in 2 weeks.
