The Dermatology Specialists-Norwood, Bronx NY

My experience was not the best. If you don’t have insurance the price given to you at the front desk is not what you will pay after the procedure is done. I was told one price and when I was finished the Dr gave me a different price much more than what I had already paid before I when in. They should have told me inside so that I can make a decision. So please be aware. Will never go back or refer anyone.
Disappointed.

I had to wait a little longer than expected but it was worth it. The staff is excellent and the doctor great bed site manner.
I recommend this site to go.

Everyone there is great and attentive, except the individual at the front desk. On my arrival she did not unlock the front door for me, so another worker had to walk up to the door and open it. During my check in process, this same person at the front desk did not make my experience any better and showed no concern for my visit or reason for my visit that day (10/17/2023). My experience with the actual medical professionals/assistants was great, however on my way out there were a list of medications that I needed, that the individual at the front desk was supposed to hand over to me as well as a note for my employer. I only received the medical note but not the prescription for the needed medications. I had a skin abscess so I was in immense pain and needed the medications as soon as possible. I decided to just not visit this place again and went to an ER at a nearby New York-Presbyterian hospital instead for better service.

The place is a little slow, but the staff is very kind and attentive. Additionally, the place is nice, clean, and they even provide you with bottled water and/or sparkling water of your choice. The check-In process is also very fast. Overall, I can’t wait to return to this place again.

I like the staff concern for the patients they personally was very polite with the patients wood recommend them to anyone that need a Dermatologist

Wasted trip because there is only one number for all establishments, if I was able to call the one I had an appointment with I would have rescheduled instead of spending money. I have no complaints about the Norwood office they are nice. What one office does the other might not so the one number set up is the only issue.

Everyone from the ladies at the front desk to the back and the dermatologist are just the sweetest people and it’s always very clean in there.

The staff was wonderful, they were very friendly and attentive. Debranaya was fantastic. She is down to earth, very easy to talk to. She is experienced and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions and gave me some great advice. I super happy I decided to trust my skincare needs to such an awesome team. Thank you

She is really helpful in answering my inquiries and offering sound suggestions. I am relieved I put my skin care in their hands.
