I ordered cupcakes and a wedding cake for my wedding and just WOW! Everything was beautiful and delicious, and the guests were amazed. She even did gluten free cupcakes for my husband who says they are the best gluten free cupcakes he's ever had.

Samantha made this gorgeous and delicious cake for my daughter’s bridal shower, that happened this past Saturday. Samantha listened carefully to everything I said I wanted the cake to be, its specific flavoring, our specific dietary restrictions (dairy free but butter ok, not vegan) and particular Art Deco design, and created this little beauty. I could not be happier, it was absolutely perfect to the last detail, absolutely delicious, everyone loved it, and my daughter was ecstatic. Mission accomplished!
I highly recommend The Dessertist to anyone who wants an absolute masterpiece that tastes even better that it looks. Samantha makes EVERYTHING herself, and she is a master, besides being a lovely lady, very easy to work with. Do check out her shop in Croton!

Ah Samantha is an amazing artist! She did our wedding cake and since we were in the full blown pandemic we needed a small cake. Well she did a two tier wedding cake with our fav flavors: chocolate for the base cake and vanilla with fresh blueberries. It was a pure delicacy for the eyes and for our taste buds. I ordered the Jack and Coke cake for my boyfriend’s birthday. The cake had an amazing flavor, beautiful decorations, and held up wonderfully in the fridge. We were all amazed at how well the flavor was replicated into the cake. I was also very appreciative that the cake was the perfect level of sweetness. It was well worth the hour drive and I’ll be ordering from Samantha again for future events!

Amazing! So easy to work with! All individually wrapped, great taste, and they looked adorable!
