Leaving another review as the negative reviews are completely inaccurate as of January 29th, 2022 and also a bit ignorant of NYC law.

I've lived in the building for four years. Yes, DURING THE PANDEMIC, the gym and other amenities were closed (as they were in other buildings). They are open now and recently renovated. DUE TO NYC LAW REQUIRING FACADE WORK, the building's outdoor spaces were closed over the past year and change as there were scaffolds up across the building for inspection and repair. They are all open again and you have some of the best views in NYC (pictures attached from late last year, when the outdoor spaces reopened).

Having to do a five-year inspection and repair is a requirement for every NYC building every five years. The pandemic hitting during the same time as the legally-required inspections and repairs made it take a few months longer, which was unfortunate. To act as if this was a permanent situation is so stupid, not really sure what else to say.

Next time ask the virus to reschedule, maybe?

Personally, I find the staff quite pleasant, but sounds like a couple people have an axe to grind? They always help me out, and I've never seen them make anyone wait for service.

Take into account the positive reviews are from those who don't even, or ever have, lived in the building. (A warning sign from the get-go)

From the perspective of someone who can speak to actually living in the building, below are the pros and cons:

Pros:
Gym, visual appeal, apartment (finishes/quality)

Cons:
-Gym (closed)
-Roofdeck (closed)
-outdoor lounges (closed)
-Staff (irresponsive/act like they don't have to do their job)
-handymen (will try to get you to order repairs for things that aren't broken and pay cash directly to them instead)

It's understandable for amenities to close for repair (not in this case - they're been closed for far more than any reasonable amount of time), but more importantly, the actual operations and staff behave like this is some kind of section 8 style living you'd expect in the Bronx. No responses, no (basic) cordiality, and zero professionalism.

This is coming from someone who has low expectations to begin with.

You will easily hear movement from neighbors, so doing business from home is quite a nuisance along with the aforementioned issues this building should immediately address.

Understandable to feel fleeced knowing HOA fees result in said environment.

This review is strictly for the morons who work at the front desk. Couldn’t be more useless. Get paid to sit around and do nothing, especially shaun and julio
