The Dutchess Biercafe, Fishkill NY

Went with a group of friends, we ordered basically everything on the menu! Everyone else’s choices were delicious, burgers, chili, bahn mi, popcorn chicken, fries! My Bratwurst dinner was the only disappointment. Brats were tasty enough, but the worst potato salad I’ve ever had. Not traditional at all, it was just red potatoes slathered in mustard.and unfortunately the beerkraut didn’t live up to a normal sauerkrauts standards.

Food is some of the best we ever had. Came on Labor Day weekend Sunday after apple picking at Fishkill Orchard. Lives up to the expectations of the highest reviewed Fishkill place on Google and Yelp. The best pretzel we’ve ever had- soft and melts in your mouth. The brunch burger, angry burger, pierogi also yummy. Also we called and they accommodated our party of 7 (includes toddler and they helped set up booster seat for us!) If you can only go to one place during your visit to Fishkill- this is the place to go!

The Dutchess Biercafe is a must-visit food spot if you're ever in the Hudson Valley.

Debatably one of the best burger spots for miles and miles, and most definitely a joint with one of the best beer selections.

If you like bacon burgers, give the Notorious P. I. G.a try. You won't have had anything like it; thickest slabs of bacon I've ever seen on a burger.

They've got indoor and outdoor seating; when it comes to takeout, be patient, as they may be a victim of their own success. But it's totally worth the wait! They've also got a good lunch special which is worth taking advantage of.

Wonderful place to relax and catch up with friends. It's great being seated outdoors, but you may want to bring along bug spray door evening or night dining. Towards the end of our evening the mosquitos won. Of course this is no fault of the establishment.

Amazing peach beer and vegan sandwhich. Very nice location. Everyone was really happy with their meals, even the children!

Great selection of Belgian beers. Surprisingly good food. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff.

I have been craving chicken an waffles for days now so I was ecstatic to see they had good reviews so I purchased two orders (one for later) lol at 32$ for two orders the only thing remotely desirable was the chicken. The waffles were thick huge pieces of dough that had very little flavor and slightly soggy on the outside.the service was great as I had ordered an picked it up but the “chicken an waffle sandwich” was truly disappointing.

Very good classic mussels (well seasoned with thyme). Very good beers to (St Bernardus and blue Chimay are amazing. Feel like at Home. (We are French) Definitely will come back.

I've never not been able to split out individual charges.
The food was delicious and promptly served.
If there was a fear of our server being "stiffed" on an appropriate tip, it was unfounded.

Dutchess Biercafe (or DBC to those in the know) is a great local place for good food and tasty beers. I have the DBC menu bookmarked because I check the specials daily because they are always so delicious. If you ever see the General Tso Turkey Meatballs, run, don't walk, and grab yourself a plate. My current obsession is the Chicken and Waffle sandwich because it's so simple, yet the perfect balance of flavors. My other favorites are the Beet Salad, the Classis Moules, and Loaded Everything Pretzel Ring. I preferred the bigger everything pretzel from a few years back, but the rings are just as tasty. For libations, my husband LOVES the Drouin Poire (pear cider) and I always get the Dubuisson Scaldis Peche Mel (peach beer)! Cheers!

Foods excellent, one of the few places that has a menu like this in the Hudson Valley. Staff is friendly, but the service has been subpar (not checking in or following up) even when it’s slow

Good burgers. Fries were too salty and they forgot part of our order. Outdoor seating is nice. Dog friendly.

In a quaint little town hides a unique gem of a restaurant. Serves a variety of Dutch enspirsed meals with an American twist. Would come again if I could.

Delicious food, great beer, amazing service, and fun atmosphere. A little pricey that's all. Definitely recommend

The Dutchess Biercafe had an adequate supply of beers on-tap. The food was very good, and the service was friendly. The waitstaff went out of their way to make our visit an enjoyable one.
