I've been using Eco Laundry for 8 months since I moved to Chelsea. My laundry is washed and folded perfectly every time, and within the timeframe provided at drop-off. Jean at the front desk is always very friendly. They also send an SMS when your laundry is ready for pickup which is super convenient. Highly recommended.

I don’t think I’ll ever be back and I’ve used this service for two years now. They claimed I was calling them a liar over the phone when I simply said the delivery service never rang our apartment. I wasn’t the only one home and no one heard anyone but Amazon ring that day. And this wasn’t the first time they said they were coming and never showed. I’m not sure if it’s easier for delivery to simply say they rang, but I wasn’t too upset until I called and was spoken to with such poor attitude. Whereas, the lady on 22nd and 8th Ave (I think her name is Jessica) is absolutely lovely every time and offers quick service. I had used her on days eco laundry was closed, but will now be a full time customer.

As someone new to the area, and from somewhere where Wash & Fold services don't really exist, I have been really impressed with this place and it has made my time in NYC much less stressful knowing I can just drop my laundry off in the morning and that'll be ready in a day or two. The pricing is fair considering the time and energy this saves. They offer a wide range of services and the employee I've interacted with has been very friendly and helpful!

Highly recommended. Stains like your needy, miserable EX can be removed by them! It's magic.

I am so happy I found this place. Love their missio.eco conscious laundry and that they plant a tree. The young man who was at the counter was nice and friendly. I really loved how my three pants came out. I would definitely support this business.

Best in NYC… and that is very tough competition, we walk 10 minutes to get to Eco Laundry… clothes perfect every time! Well done!

I should have known…

From the phone person that does not say “hello” when they pick up the phone but waits for you to you talk to the angry pick up man, it was a mistake.

I gave two bags separating dirty hot wash with light fragile items to wash cold. It all came back the same bags mixed, folded and placed with no care what so ever in the same bags, I hope the bags were cleaned too. Everything is a mess, at this price point, I expected more. Like basics more.

The delivery guy had so much hate in his face I was embarrassed to say thank you, he said no words what’s so ever and turned as fast as possible.

They did do it fast and it all here but that wasn’t the most important for me.

I absolutely LOVED my experience here. They got my white comforter with lots of stains to be pristine! It looks and feels brand new again. They were super quick, super nice and I would highly recommend!

I was a long-time customer of Eco Laundry Chelsea, but will no longer be giving them my business. After receiving a white shirt back from the Eco Laundry team that was in worse condition than when I gave it to them to launder, the team was unwilling to problem solve with me to fix the shirt that they stained. The lead employee at Eco Laundry told me the shirt was “wearable” and refused to acknowledge the problem that his team stained my shirt, did not get it fully out, and then only got the shirt to a condition he deemed “wearable”. The shirt was “wearable” (albeit not clean) when I sent it in for his team to clean, but now it was in a worse condition with remnants of the stain still visible on the shirt.

The “wearable” excuse was disappointing for a team I worked with countless times. More disappointing was the combative and accusatory phone call I received from the lead employee, telling me I was taking advantage of him, by trying to have the shirt cleaned and returned to me in better condition than when I dropped it off. The lead employee was not constructive and did not address how we can problem solve so his customer was pleased. This experience was extremely disappointing and I hope the business does better by others, as I will not be supporting the business any longer. The lead employee has many times in the past made me feel like he did not have time to help me (which I have seen in other reviews, so know it is a pattern) ; however, this incident truly was too much for me to justify going back to the business.
